I think a lot of people don't want to think hard about complex issues. They want easy answers so they can move on. If it's not affecting their life directly, they feel they're wasting their time trying to figure it out. So they accept what they heard someone else say, especially if it's simple, and go with that.

I see some truth in this, but I think it's too broad an assumption. I agree with what @AMGT said. I know I can be needy, and there might have been some co-dependency in my marriage, but I'm learning to be alone now, and I don't think that people who can't be alone are incapable of love or of sharing. This hits close to home for me, emotionally, which is why I needed some time to think.

I feel for you. I've always been a night owl, and getting up really early has always been very hard. When I was young, I found it very hard to get to my job by 7:30. Sometimes it seemed so hard and horrible to go out into the cold and dark. It seems kind of silly to me now, but it was very real then. But even now, getting up before sunrise seems like it would be very hard. Thankfully, I don't have to.

Concerts best
Tomfoolery33 comments on May 13, 2018:
That's a tough one. A lot of them were great in different ways and for different reasons. I guess I'd have to go with my very first concert which was The Beatles at Comiskey Park in Chicago in 1965. I was only 10, but had been listening to everything the Beatles put out since they first broke in America. I was also with my older sister and cousins, who were really into the Beatles. It was an unforgettable concert, even though hearing them over the screams was very difficult. The excitement was intense!
