@VLove I try to be aware of the rest of the world. It's hard, though, because American news sources, along with the rest of us, are swallowed up by this political hell-hole that is Donald Trump.

I haven't noticed that myself, but then I am American. In what way do you feel excluded? When we talk about American politics? I guess it is true that I don't see that much on here about various world situations, and I would agree that Americans tend to be insular, but there are lots of subjects that are interpersonal, and wouldn't seem to me to be particular to just Americans.

Thanks.
So, what's happening at your house tonight?

Give the dog a bath, take one myself, go to Dharma center for satsang, maybe cook something

Sounds pretty good. Anything else?
Cultural appropriation.
blzjz comments on May 5, 2018:
Those who use cultural appropriation as some kind of wedge are missing the boat... cultural practices especially clothing and design should be open to use as an expression... the thought that any society "owns" these things is outrageous...
Tomfoolery33 replies on May 5, 2018:
It's just a joke.
Cultural appropriation.
LEPeff comments on May 5, 2018:
Guy Fieri has a culture? I mean beyond causing humans to vacillate between constipation and diarrhea.

phxbillcee comments on May 4, 2018:
Some places you would not want to wear that! They wouldn't even get to the punchline!
Tomfoolery33 replies on May 4, 2018:
@phxbillcee I was joking. I used to know where some of those places were, but it's been a long time.
What is your beer of choice?
ronin73 comments on May 4, 2018:
There's a local micro-brewery that makes an amazing oatmeal stout. I was there the week it opened and got hooked then and there. Not sure if that says anything other than I'm not a fan of fizzy yellow beer.
Tomfoolery33 replies on May 4, 2018:
Love Samuel Smith's oatmeal stout.
Go, cow, go!
tioteo comments on May 4, 2018:

Why do most marriages fail?
Tomfoolery33 comments on May 4, 2018:
I think we were originally monogamous when we only lived to be 30 years old. Get together, have some kids, raise them, and die. Now we live so much longer.
Tomfoolery33 replies on May 4, 2018:
@crazycurlz I was just thinking aloud. I have no idea if they were actually monogamous. It just occurred to me.
Calvin nails it again.

memorylikeasieve comments on May 4, 2018:
Your poll is missing 'zero.'. Yeah, I know it's less than 50 percent, but it's that much less that it needs it's own entry. ?
Tomfoolery33 replies on May 4, 2018:
True dat!
Let me check...Yep! You're good to go!

I don't think so. But maybe this is an old picture. Or maybe it is still a thing. I'm old too.
