Nitrogen fertilizer is made from natural gas and plastics are made from petroleum along with a lot of other products. Farm tractors I’m sure will continue to be run by diesel for many years yet as it not practical to have charging stations at farm fields. Farmers are already trying to reduce fuel use by going to minimum till or no-till but the chemical prices used in these practices have skyrocket too.

Besides we use our AR15 and AR10 rifles to shoot coyotes which are a regular nuisance around calving cows and especially first calf heifers. Keep in mind that Biden appointed the head of the federal reserve so he definitely has a large responsibility on inflation. Also he declared war on oil and gas on day one by stopping leasing on federal land and blocking the keystone xl which could have been bringing us 800,000 barrels of oil a day from friendly Canada. This has caused fuel prices and fertilizer to rise. Instead of doing that he wants to do a deal with hostile Iran and buy oil from them. Hamas and Hezbollah are largely funded by Iran and have been furnished thousands of rockets to shoot into Israel by Iran. It’s foolish to try to make a deal with a country that hates us and is responsible for a lot of the terrorism in the world. On illegal immigration we had that under control when Trump was in office. Under Biden and the Democraps inflation has been skyrocketing. I’m a rancher and I’ve never saw that much out of control inflation in my life. Anhydrous ammonia fertilizer which is very common here and probably the number one fertilizer used has gone from 450 a ton to 1,400 a ton and it’s still going up. Glyphosphate which is the number one chemical used in Minimum and no till farming has gone from 12.50 a gallon to 48 dollars per gallon. 2-4D another common chemical has gone from 11 dollars a gallon to 28.50 per gallon. And fuel prices are skyrocketing to. I think and hope that this out of control inflation will sink Biden and the Democraps. And I wish Trump was back. Or at least a sensible republican who would get this under control.
