@hankster I’ve saw several veterans whom I know personally get second rate care from the VA. Hell here at the local VA pretty much all the doctors who worked at the VA were ones who got in trouble and could not longer practice in the private sector.

I’ve always been very pro choice especially in the first 25 weeks and longer if something is wrong with the baby like Down syndrome. The anti abortion stance is coming from the religous right wing. I’ve known some religous people who accept abortion in early pregnancy and some extremist who want to force a woman to have the child of a rapist in the name of religion.

The indoctrination of young children disgust me. When my grandson was 6 years he ask me if I believed in god I told him I didn’t believe in something that didn’t exist. He replied “but papa if you don’t believe in god you’ll go to hell”. He hasn’t brought it up in a good while so maybe he has decided papa is a pretty good guy even though he’s going to hell.

The local police can always go to the gun dealer who sold a gun used in a crime to get all the information they need. I don’t want any law enforcement agency to have a registry of my guns.
