Currently here in the US guns are only registered with the local dealers. When a gun is used in a crime law enforcement will go to the manufacturer of the gun and find out which dealer they were sent to. They will then approach the dealer and find out who he sold the gun to. That’s how they track guns currently. A national registry is always the first step to confiscation as the federal government knows who owns the guns which I think is bad. I have no problem with gun registration as long as it stays with the local dealers and not the federal government. I don’t think a gun registry will help with crime as criminals use stolen guns or those purchased on the black market.

@AlPastor The purposal calls for us to be 100% green by 2030. Since the only electric aircraft I know of are small drones that means the current aircraft are out. Also there would be no more steak as farting cows are to be banned as well. @kenriley Go ahead and look them up. Wikipedia has good articles on 2 of the more recent ones which are District of Columbia versus Helller and McDonald versus the city of Chicago. It shows how the liberal and conservative judges voted on each case. The Supreme Court is getting ready to hear another gun rights case which has to do with transporting a gun in New York City. Alena Kegan has never heard a gun case to my knowledge but I’m sure Obama wouldn’t have put her on the court unless she favored gun control.

@kenriley The biggest danger to us losing our rights pertaining to guns is not from changing the constitution but through the appointment of liberal judges who don’t recognize the 2nd amendment as giving us the right to have firearms. There’s 4 of those already on the US Supreme Court and had Hillary been elected there may have been 6 unless a Republican senate blocked them.

Without groups like the NRA we would have lost a lot of our rights pertaining to guns and would likely be like Canada where they are basically denied the right to have a handgun and pretty much denied the right to self defense. Everyone who owns guns should support the NRA or at least one of the other pro gun groups.

@t1nick No that’s not scare tactics. We don’t even have the technology to be able to go 100% green by 2030 without destroying the US economy! Unless we come up with some new technology like fusion it will likely take over 100 years to make the switch. What’s even more disturbing to me is the fact that the same people who want to take drastic measures to switch green also want to do away with ICE and open the border which is totally insane as overpopulation is the number one problem facing us humans today.
