@bigpawbullets After the Connecticut shooting a few years ago one of my democrat acquaintances who knew I owned several AR type rifles told me that those guns should all be seized and destroyed. When I replied that he was a radical SOB he became enraged and told me to step outside so he could whip my ass. I declined to do so as I’ve never been much of a brawler. Another democrat I’ve known for years pointed his finger at me and told me only law enforcement and army people should be allowed to have guns. What amazes me even more about those 2 is that both own several guns with one owning a M-14. Seems they are both hypricrite SOB’s.

Your fortunate to live somewhere with so many atheist. Here in western Oklahoma where I live I doubt 1% of the population is an open atheist. I’m sure there are quite a few closet atheist, maybe as many as 20%. The religous right is so powerful here most just don’t want to cross them.

The only point I would make is that guns and booze is not good combination. It is illegal in most states to carry a fire arm into bar or restaurant that serves alcohol even with a carry permit.

I agree that guns and alcohol are potentially a bad combination. Here in Oklahoma it’s illegal to carry a gun in a bar but it’s ok to carry in a restaurant that serves alcohol as long as you don’t drink yourself.

@lerlo As a life long cattle rancher why would I support the democrats. Hell Obama once gave a speech saying cows were responsible for global warming and the state of California already has a cow gas tax. The democrats have virtually lost all support from the rural areas especially cattlemen. Hell they are a grave threat to our livelihood. Trump has got China to open up there markets to US beef for the first time in years and has also done away with many burdensome regulations imposed by that idiot Obama which cost an enormous amount but did little good. I decline to debate with idiots like you as we are far apart in our outlook for our country and I’m sure if civil war ever erupts in our country you and I will be on opposite sides.
