I know a lot of very safe and peficient shooters who do not have a concealed carry. I have a concealed carry myself but all that required for that is 4 your saftey class and a Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation background which is a little more stringent than the basic background check required now. I’m very opposed to a national registry as that is the first step in confiscation of guns.

50 rounds of 9mm here cost about 10 to 12 dollars sometimes even cheaper. Since 9mm is a nato round it is cheaper than most. I like the Glock, Smith & Wesson and Ruger pistols. Colts and Sig pistols are good but they’re expensive. The pistol calibers I have other than 9mm are 45 auto, 38 special, 44 magnum and 357 magnum. With the 357 magnum you can also shoot 38 special. On the Rifles I like Savage, and Ruger. My AR rifles are generic put together’s from various manufacterer’s and some are DPMS (Panther Arms) rifles. The rifle calibers I have are . 308, . 223 ,22, . 338 Lapua magnum and 6.5 Creedmoor. The Creedmoor is a very pleasant shooting rifle with low recoil and very accurate at long range but the shells are a little expensive at 25 dollars for 20 shells. The . 223 and . 308 being military rounds are cheaper about 5 dollars per 20 rounds for . 223 and 7 or 8 for . 308.

About 10 years ago I told my wife I was an atheist and didn’t really want to go to church as I just didn’t believe in it. There’s so much indoctrination in those religious nuts many of them would put they’re religion ahead of their families. I find that to be radical and disgusting.

Taking away the guns will solve nothing. Hell there’s already over 300 million guns out there. The only practical way to solve the mass shootings in schools is increased security.

I’ve been married to the same woman for 42 years. I used to go to church with her from time to time and I allowed her to bring our children up in the church. When our kids were grown up and gone I told her I was an atheist and didn’t want to go to church anymore and she doesn’t press me on it. We’ve agreed not to discuss religion. My children don’t want me talking to my grandchildren about my lack of beliefs and my 7 year old grandson is concerned I’m going to hell. He hasn’t mentioned that in awhile. Maybe someday he’ll see the light.
