And then, so as NOT seem Sexist, we did the same to the toilets for the MaleTeachers as well EXCEPT the request was that they must SQUAT and NOT sit or stand.

Triphid replies on Apr 4, 2022:
Similar to how we refer to our local City Council but with a slightly different 'twist' to it. "Our Council works in the most wonderful ways, They have, 3 Experts who go out and spend an hour or 3 assessing whether or not the VISIBLE gap in the ground surface is ACTUALLY a hole or just a mirage, then they return to their Office, dink many cups of coffee and debate as to the status, etc, of the ground anomaly after which they hold more discussions BEFORE they determine the status of this anomaly, Next it is referred to the Council General Manager for his decision and once he has reached his decision, he rosters a team of 1 Supervisor, 1 Assistant Supervisor, 1 Civil Engineer, up to 5 Workers and 2 Work Trucks and then drafts out the orders that MUST approved by him BUT not until the City Mayor has been consulted as well of course. Usually by the time all the "Protocol" has been followed correctly, some enterprising member of the public has managed to fill in the hole/gap by merely mixing up some rapid setting concrete on-site, pouring it in, smoothing it off and headed back home for well earned coffee. As the ages old local saying has always gone, " IF you want something done, do it yourself, IF you want nothing done about something urgent or necessary CALL the Broken Hill City Council."

I rang the radio station at about 8.30 am and by 8.45 am when I was taking Lorrae to school there was still heavy traffic heading east-wards out of town, when we got to the school, Lorrae was told that most of the Teachers had left in a real hurry about minutes ago and all were heading in the same direction.

@Lilac-JadeCanada Have ABSOLUTELY NO fear of that EVER happening, learned my lesson about 5 years ago when I, through being the person I am, got permission from some very old and respected friends to harvest dead wood from their property, approx.95,000 acres in size btw, for usage as firewood in both his house and in my own. Things SEEMED to be going well UNTIL by sheer accident I answered my home phone one day to hear a caller wanting to place an order for 1 and a 1/2 tons of firewood and expecting the load to be delivered asap. The asking price, $ 285.00 per ton plus $15.00 delivery and I knew absolutely NOTHING at all about his USING me and my decades old friendship with these people to make HIM some extra cash on the side. When I confronted him he proudly informed me that he was making quite a nice income by keeping half of each load we collected for himself, supplementing it with scrap timber, etc, he'd gained from the local Rubbish , etc, etc, and selling the rest. Needless to say, my friendship with the Property Owners still remains strong but he has a WRITTEN Document from the local Magistrates Court that states clearly. " Should He ever set foot upon their Property EVER again they will have him arrested and Charged with Trespassing and Intent to Steal." As for me, the "welcome mat" is always still out and all I need do is ring first and let them know I am considering dropping in for a visit.

And WHY, you may well ask? Well that answer is as simple as 1 + 1 = 2, RELIGION cannot and NEVER has been able to ACTUALL offer up and Prove itself to be anything more than merely Suppositions, Innuendos, Assumptions, Camp-fire side Fairy and Spooky/Scary Tales, etc, etc, ALL designed to make the gullible listener/s afraid enough of the shadows and want to pay for the services of a Charlatan dressed in special costumery to come along and weave his/her magic spells, etc, etc, and PRETEND to drive the also totally imaginary "nasties" away from those who are gullible enough to pay him/her for his/her fakeries. I think, @skado, SHOULD you ACTUALLY do YOUR own research, etc, then you may well, IF imo you can open your mind up far enough that is, find that throughout the centuries and millenia RELIGION has sought to SUPPRESS the advancement of human knowledge, etc, etc, rather than to PROMOTE it. Have you either WILLFULLY managed to FORGET or MERELY decided to SKIP over and ignore that centuries of religious oppression wrought upon Human Kind by the Catholic Church in particular? Or the Persecutions, executions, etc, etc, of those who did NOT follow the Doctrines of the Christian Belief systems, for example, try reading about Hypatia and the Newly Formed and rising Messianic ( read Christian) Cult of Alexandria, Egypt and what she and ALL the other students, etc, were subjected to by those wonderful, peace-loving, brotherly love spouting Christians. Christianity has MURDERED and Slaughtered MILLIONS in the 1,600 + years since the Councils of Nicaea ratified it as an Accepted Religion within the then Roman Empire and there are even RECORDS kept by the Followers, usually the R.C.C. btw, of the EXACT numbers of the victims. How good you must be feeling. I can only imagine the high you had for the rest of the day. It is never too late to learn. Re-connecting with an old friend and have it turn out that way. Wow! :)

Yes, good regarding catching up with an old school friend, and a bit "honoured" so to speak, that he chose me to help HIM with a problem that has been and still be affecting his life for quite some time to come I think.

This is not any kind of scandal. Plenty of priests understand that the point of religion is not belief, but practice. It doesn’t make them fake priests - it makes them authentic priests. (I’m sure the fakes exist too, but they probably lied on the survey.)

@Betty I think you may have quite accidently forgotten about one of BIGGEST iniquities to arise and be known regarding both, mainly the Catholic and Anglican Churches that operated from as early, estimated by Historians here btw, the mid- 16th, century in England, the Lime Pits at the furthest end of each Convent. Those were the places where the unwanted newly born babies of the Nuns and Novices were " disposed of, ALIVE, soon after birth. This I know of as a fact since my maternal Grandfather was assistant to the Convent Gardener, his Uncle btw, and one of their very regular tasks was to actually stir the Lime pits and ensure that, to quote the Head of the Convent, "all things within the pit were being dissolved as they should be and that NOTHING untoward remained behind." Granddad always broke out in to torrents of tears when ever he related that sickening and disgusting piece of his life.

For @ skado only btw, No, no scandal EXCEPT that it is a sinecure for those who are too frigging bone idle and lazy to bother joining the ACTUAL Work-force and getting their precious, soft little hands dirty and calloused so they become Religious Parasites instead and prey off the vulnerable of society. BTW, @skado, are you SURE that you truly belong here and NOT at some "middle of nowhere Alabamie style Revival Church meeting with the rest of the Alabamie Hillbillies? But then again I guess you are way, way too chicken livered to respond to any of my comments, etc, that are addressed directly to you, but fear not, I shall still continue on none-the-less for I would NOT like to have think that I have forgotten you in any way.

@Reignmond Yeah, they've been available via Catholic Church outlets for at least the last 3 decades, so what is new about that.
