For example, IF a government decides to give everyone a taxation cut of 5% then it simply means a person earning $10 per hours gets a measely 0.05cents per hour extra after taxes BUT the Wealthy, etc, earning $1,000 per hour gets an extra $50, yes FIFTY Dollars, per hour AFTER taxes, ergo, the less you earn the less of a 'tax break' you actually get. IF you don't believe me then work it out for yourselves. I ask you, IS that truly a FAIR DEAL, shouldn't it be the other way around, i.e. the lower your income the GREATER the tax break you get? And before some POOR little rich boy/girl jumps up screaming like a stuck pig, one of my many qualifications IS that I'm a Qualified and retired Chartered Book-Keeper and Accountant.

About a year ago a neighbour and good friend sorted out her wardrobe and gave the items she no longer used/wore to the local 'Vinnies Boutique,' aka St. Vincents De Paul, shop. Out of curiosity, a few weeks later she went into the 'Vinnies Boutique' for a look around only to discover that her donations were being sold at approx. 10% BELOW the marked prices she had paid for them originally, she had thought that 'Vinnies' would offer them up at prices that the needy could actually afford and not simply at 'marked down' Retail Shop prices. So much for Xstian Catholic Charity in my opinion.

Many moons ago I was using the 'long-drop' dunny on a friends Sheep Station when I felt a sting on my knacker bag, at first I thought it was a bloody mosquito until I looked down and saw the redback spider hanging on. I've seen then quite a number of times and curious thing is that when they appear the night sounds always die away to complete silence until they've gone again. The rank insanity of some, most actually, religious sects/beliefs never seems to surprise me. Early last week we had a new family move into the neighborhood, last Friday afternoon I had a knock on my front door, I opened it to find a young child about 10 years of age who asked if I had any candles I could spare since his family would be needing them as their Seventh Day Religion forbids them from using either gas or electricity from sunset on a Friday through to sunset on the following day (Saturday). He went on to tell me that they are forbidden to watch television, listen to the radio, cook meals or even bathe during that 24 hour period, so sad and disturbing for such young children who have to endure such rank stupidity simply because of superstition and religious bullshit.
