Ah those great old Pommie motorbikes, love them. I've had, owned and ridden 4 motorbikes in my 40+ years of being a licensed rider. My favourite was the 1943 model YB33, single cylinder, 500cc B.S.A. that I completely restored from 2 trailer loads of 'basket-case' pieces bought for $200. She had a dome-headed cast metal piston , a compression ratio of 12 to 1, needed a mix of AAA racing fuel and Super Grade Petrol ( 3 parts Petrol, 1 part Racing Fuel), a decompression lever on the side of the frame, the gear shift was on the fuel tank and the 'get up and go' of a race horse on steroids. If had the spare money I'd be riding another bike today but this time one with a sidecar, less chance of going arse over turkey...LOL.

They'd ask which train was heading for Sydney, drop a few dollars in our hand and we'd put them in a 'louvred van ( enclosed but ventilated freight wagon)' heading for either S.A. or W.A. and tell them to wait until the train stops 3 times and the get out and run like hell before the Guard gets them. Lol, most of the trains used ONLY stopped at Peterborough, S.A., Pt.Augusta, S.A. and then, finally, at the yards in Perth, W.A. Sadly we had NO direct rail connections to Victoria, otherwise we'd have exported as many as possible down there as well.

We did have one or two, but they were relatively harmless, now we've got living on the streets, walking around everywhere talking to themselves or arguing with themselves, asking people where they are, etc, etc. According to some of the very few lucid ones, it was an idea that come up as method to 'clean up' the streets of Sydney, etc, they get a Free Bus ticket, $100 BUT ONLY if they move out here and never go back to the coast.

I would put anything religious in the fiction sections and put actual science books in where the religious garbage came from. Plus, my local G.P. always had a K.J. bible and a Gideon's bible on the table in the Waiting Room so I made some stickers at home that said "Work of Pure Fiction, not suitable for Children contains violence, murder, rape and slavery," and stuck my stickers on to each one. Now the G.P. ONLY has magazines and newspapers available.

Bloody hell, why can't we get this bloke's show here in Australia, I'd gladly stay up late to watch it. All we get is D class, and lower, comedians who could get a laugh even if you tickled them, Songs of Praise, Compass and a Free to Air channel dedicated to Evangelists, Episcopalians, etc, etc, running 24/7. Plus, when they were cutting the Sydney Harbour Tunnel they discovered, to their amazement, that running right through most of the harbour was a very ancient, very thick layer of river silt and mud following the course of a very large river that flowed out to sea from the mainland. Yes, Islamic Fundamentalism is cruel, brutal, sadistic, etc, etc, but where did it first learn these things from? Since Islam arose some 3-400 years AFTER Christianity and Christianity set about persecuting Islam with the Crusades, etc, etc, I tend to think that, perhaps, some of cruelty and brutality of the Crusades and the like thus twisting those 'lessons' to suit their own ends. Plus, imo, there are still many fundamentalist Christians roaming around that may not have all that many qualms should it come about that they can re-institute the 'old ways' of persecuting others like us and what they perceive as being 'False' beliefs/believers.

@nicestuff I've debated with many a 'god-mobster' and never ever gotten a straight answer to a similar question as to, " If God knows everything in advance then WHY do miscarriages occur in the first place, surely such an ALL powerful, ALL knowing Being can prevent such things?"

That would be because, I presume, my Counseling 'Services' are well known around town and have been available since the late 1990's when they first started. I've also had a Free Call number, supplied by our national telephone service, since May, 2005 plus a Pager type beeper that I carry with me when I'm away from my home phone that alerts me when there's a call on the service line. I used to give myself 2x half days off every second week and rely on 2 others who are qualified, retire Counselors BUT as of next week the service will now have 2 more 'stand-by' Counselors as well, like me ALL volunteers.
