His beliefs are annoying everyone in the close neighbourhood to be 100% truthful, not just mine. Ionce tried to tell that a 'supposed' woman he was texting from Ghana and sending her money as well was just scamming him but his response was merely to say, " God and Jesus love me, they would NOT allow that to happen." About 5,500 dollars later he realised, finally, that he's led up the garden path but told everyone that God/Jesus were just ptting him to the test. What I post is not bitching so much as it is my kind of warning to others out there of what can and does on in this crazy world full of Religiotard Nut cases around us.

@Cyklone The laws on Schedule 8 may have changed since my time as a Psychiatric Nurse working at Parkside Mental Institution in 1976 and on the lengths of 'hospitalisation there since we admitted a patient we all nicknamed "Big Bertha" who, when being tranferred from the R.A.H. to Parkside managed to single-handedly literally destroy the inside of one those old Ford 'Paddywagons ' completely, put 3 Police Officers in hospital with fractured jaws, fractured cheek bones, 4 fractured ribs and badly bruised and very swollen genitals before someone managed, at great personal risk, to inject her with enough Morphine to knock her out completely. "Big Bertha" stood at approx. 6'5" weighed in at around 267 kilograms and was built like a brick shithouse. The reason she was 'restrained' and admitted was that she had been off her medications for well over 2 months and gone 'beserk' thrown her 5' 10," partner ( a Bricklayer and Builder) through a solid wooden front door and had then set about doing her very best to demolish a brick house that they rented from the Housing Commission with nothing more than her bare hands.

Triphid replies on May 21, 2020:
I suppose it is because the Cast-Iron is actually not pressed into shape as with other pots, etc, such as steel or copper. It is actually cast in a mold or beatebn into shape whhile it is still red/white hot hence the the flavours, etc, can seep in between the upper layers of the pot and are sealed in from the heat.

Ah, Evangelidiot, my new name for him btw, well he has been TRYING to construct a hand-cart from timber so as to carry his supplies this last week or so but can't find anyone who can make actual wooden wheels with iron rims on them for him, he wants to do everything as per would have normal in those times. He has also struck a 'hinderance' from his Mother and siblings in that he told them of his 'hearing God and speaking with God, etc, etc, and they have threatened him with having him put on a Schedule 8 and admitted to a Mental Hospital for Treatment IF he continues with his " obvious insanity." So it seems we will all just have to sit back and wait to see what unflods. However, once someone is placed on a Schedule 8, they can be 'hospitalized' in an Institution for a period anywhere from 6 months to 4 years normally or the Schedule 8 can be extended on the recommendations of 3 Psychiatrists for as long as 15 to 20 years.

Even though there are those who choose toequate Faith and Trust as being one and the same, they conveniently forget about those differences and nuances. Also, speaking for myself here as is truly all anyone can do, I TRUST in Science because Science, unlike religion, WILL admit when it has gotten something wrong or a theory needs to amended/emended. @Coffeo The DNA in any foetus is a combination of that derived from BOTH parents, i.e. part from the paternal side and part from the maternal side, except in the case of multiple births where the foeti have formed from the one single fertilized ovum and even then there a slight, but noticable 'nuances/differences detectable in the DNA's of each. Not quite such a surprise since everyone carries the DNA of their 'birth' parents, the 'birth' Grandparents and so on and so forth. Your DNA can be traced back as far as your ancestral line can be traced and probably even further than that as well.

Doing what all outback Aussies nearly always do, we stopped and asked if the driver needed help, the reply was a bit of shock to say the least, " Yes, I'm trying to read this GPS thing so I can find the main road to Wilcannia and start my patrols, can you help me please?" Where he was stopped was right under the HUGE sign that showed clearly "Wilcannia, 245 kilometres" with an arrow pointing in the direction and under it was a sign showing " Broken Hill, 35 kilometres" with an arrow pointing in the opposite direction, he was less than 20 metres away from the very obvious sealed Highway.

@Paul4747 As the old adage has always gone, "It is NOT guns that kill, it is the person using the gun that does the killing." Plus, as an Police Officer once told me, IF you wallop an intruder with a pick-handle no-one, absolutely no-one can dispute that the intruder surprised you while you were making it ready to fit on to a new pick-head.

I trained him to sit patiently at his bowl and wait to be told he could eat his evening meal, we got him, rescued more likely, when he about 5 months old, had been chained to a fence continuously, never house-trained but as son we got him home he immediately settled on ONLY using one specific corner of the backyard to do his 'business' in, when in the house, most of the time every day, he'd give me a nudge to inform me he needed to go do his business, then he'd do his regular 'dog patrol' of the yard and scrap on the door to be let back in. In summer he'd give an odd look if he found that the Air Cooler wasn't switched and in winter he'd standing in front of wood fire and pretend to shiver if it wasn't already burning. Once I discovered that he had devoured a whole crop of Garlic that I was growing and could not understand why I refused to allow him inside the house for 3 days afterwards.

@p-nullifidian Arab Gazelle Hound, aka, Saluki. Once either those or Whippets shift into 'High gear, there is very little any other breed can do to keep up with them. Russian Wolfhounds, aka, Borzois, another breed of the Sight-Hound group that I also once owned are just a fast as their Arab cousins also. The word 'Borzoi' translated into English simply mean " Swift of Foot," which kind of says it all. I used to 'train' both breeds by getting them to run along as I drove a car at between 40 and 60 kilometres per hour are around a 3 kilometre dirt circuit track. Both the Saluki and the Borzoi had no trouble staying level with the car at speeds of 40 -48 kilometres per hour for between 3 and 5 complete circuits but increase the speed above the 50 kph level and they'd drop behind but still keep at relatively same distance from the rear of the car.

@David1955 The 'Seppo' system, imo, is little more than sick joke but I firmly believe Australia needs to shed ALL semblances of 'Mother (????) England', become a True Republic with its own system of Government, Elections, rid itself copletely of the Bi-partisan ideology of having ONLY 2 major Political Parties that can barter votes between them and, especially, rid itself of ANY and ALL political parties forming coallitions as per the Liberal-National Coallition ever occurring again. I.e. ANY Political Party seeking election MUST stand by itself, on its own platform and on its own merits alone. A few of my ideas are, A) NO candidate over the Age of 60 years can run for Election, B) NO Party can hold Government for longer than 2 consecitive Terms, C) NO Lobbying of Government/Politicians by Big Businesses/Corpoations, etc, INCLUDING ALL Religions/Religious Groups is permitted, D) ONLY Community Service based Groups/Organisations, etc, are permitted to lobby Governments, etc, E) ALL retiring Politicians ARE only entitled to claim the STANDARD rate of the Pension as per paid to every other citizen, F) ALL politicians, State, Federal or Local are to paid on a sliding scale of Income based solely upon their Individual Productivity for the WHOLE Populace, NOT just their Electorate, i.e. they ALL start out on a BASE Rate Income and either it increases with proven productivity or remains as a Base Income, G) Australians as a WHOLE elect the Leader of the Country NO matter which Party gains Government, H) ALL Candidates MUST show Australian Citizenship only, must relinquish any and ALL ties/interests, etc, to or with Business concerns and incomes from such BEFORE, during and AFTER becomng elected and during their entire Tenure in Office, Those are the basic ideas I have for a better system of Government, please feel free to add/subtract any you wish.

@girlwithsmiles There you are, it is definitely copper because I've scraped off the years of dirt and the patina that was on it and it is copper in colour, tested it with a number of magnets, the shank of the nail is square, the tip is tapered similat to an Egyptian style Obelisk and it has a round, flat head that is broader than the body of the nail. Given that we know pretty much when the Iron Age began and that Noah built his Ark long before humans started smelting iron then it is only reasonable that he would have used copper nails to fasten the timbers of the Ark, hence IT must have come from Noah's Tool KIt....LOL. If you have ever seen a tarantula wasp you know they could handle a murder hornet.
