Joanna was also badly emaciated, weak and trying to drink from my garden pond in the midst of a heat-wave, I hauled her out, dried her off, fed her ,inced meat and gave her fresh milk to drink thinking she'd feel much stronger and wander off during the evening but next morning she was at my door again looking very hungrily at an empty bowl that she had been fed from, I fed her agai and it seems she decided that she liked this 'human restaurant' idea and she's ben here ever since.

I have about 4 or 6 crows visit me every second day wanting hand-outs but they depart whenever my old friend, a female Wedge-tailed Eagle drops in for a free snack and visit. I rescued Lady E, the Eagle, quite a number of years ago when she was very young and had collapsed while trying to drink from my garden pond. She was very emaciated and weak, the Vet said he doubted if she'd survive but I perservered for over 4 weeks and more until she regained strength, learned to flying again, then released her, ever since she has returned to my home, had a free meal, a pat or thre on the head and neck and even lets my 6 year old nephew hand feed her and pat her as well.

And after this travesty of Justice I'd say that the High Bench members would be about as popular with the average, decent, caring Australian people as would a Proctologist's middle finger at a Nudist's Convention.

@Cyklone Yes well Xrstians have been going at it ( committing Mass Genocides that is) in the name of God and Jesus since around the time when Emperor Constantine made Xrstianity an official religion in the Roman Empire. But we could use the Xrstian Purging of Alexandria, Egypt as a starting point since that has been historically documented. I.e. the Xtrstians slaughtered a total of 5,400+ innocent peoples in Alexandria, destroyed at least 80% of the Great Library, raped and mutilated around 700 women and young girls, then we could go on and include those that were slaughtered by the Xrstians in the Middle East, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Europe including France, Germany, the Scandanavian Countries, Russia, North and South Americas, Africa, shit the list is almost endless. One would probably be badly underestimating if one were to say that the Death Toll would be, over the centuries, easily in thousands of MILLIONS.

Errr, depending upon what era you are talking about with people being 'attracted' to Christianity, if it were at the very onset then there were NO books written about it and at least 99% of the common people were totally illiterate. The very first accounts were written by Scribes, 40 of them separated by miles of seas and land on 3 (THREE) separate Continents approx. 325+ years AFTER these supposed and very mythical events had been assumed to have occurred. Ergo, people were seduced into believing in this mythical Messiah by mere word of mouth and NOT by reading about it/him.

@Donotbelieve Unless a person/patient is declared Clinically Braindead, the last part of the body to stop working is the brain. When the brain begins to become starved of oxygen then the neurons, etc, begin to fir at random and in great disorder, creating within the brain various hallucinations and images, etc, etc. IF the person/patient is again revived those images/hallucinations will most often remain foremost in the memory thus creating the impression/s of an N.D. experience.

@OleBlueEyes No, the 'receptors' are specific, for want of a better term, to finding ANY non infected host cells in the body the virus infects. But being an air-borne virus it IS drawn into the airways of the victim as it breathes, it can ALSO enter the body by tranferance from the skin into the mucosal layers around the eyes, mouth and nosal passages.

Triphid comments on Apr 3, 2020:
Definitely NOT a live/living virus injected into the body via the bloodstream, that would be almost akin to Lethal Injections for Executions. But an attenuated ( dead) form of the virus would possibly work as the same is done with most Flu Vaccines anyway.
Triphid replies on Apr 4, 2020:
@OleBlueEyes No not quite as quick and lethal but using a 100% a live virus in any vaccine would be counter-productive and potentially fatal at the very least.

Always come out with " If you do this/that or make me do such and such I'll have a Fit and you'll be sorry." It worked for years UNTIL I started training to be a nurse, then one day the school rang to say " Get here quick, your sister is having an Epileptic Episode." I walked into the classroom, saw her flapping about like a stranded fish, knew it was fake right there and then and asked the Teacher what caused this. The reply was, " I told her that the whole class was going out into the playground to do a bit of exercise like jumping on the spot, she responded with 'make me do that and I'll have a fit and you'll be in trouble'." I simply asked the Teacher, " Did she drop to the floor and hit a table or anything on the way down or just fold up slowly and fall gently, did she pee her pants at all during the fit, has she struck anything around her during the fit or foamed at the mouth?" The answer came immediately from my sister, " You bastard, you've spoiled everything now, they know how to tell if I'm faking it and if I'm not, I hate you." After that she NEVER once tried that little ploy again either at school or at home. Such are the extents that some others will go to to manipulate the people around them just to get their own way.

Would the Corona virus be more survivable if you were injected with live virus blood serum?
Triphid comments on Apr 3, 2020:
Definitely NOT a live/living virus injected into the body via the bloodstream, that would be almost akin to Lethal Injections for Executions. But an attenuated ( dead) form of the virus would possibly work as the same is done with most Flu Vaccines anyway.
Triphid replies on Apr 3, 2020:
@bingst No, it is an attentuated form of the living virus, i.e. a dead virus. The body's Immune system then recognise the genetic material from the attentuated virus and goes about creating the necessary Anti-bodiesin response.
Would the Corona virus be more survivable if you were injected with live virus blood serum?
TheMiddleWay comments on Apr 3, 2020:
I would assume that depends on whether the antibodies are activated by merely being in the blood stream. Maybe it needs to affect the respiratory tract before our immune system activates; I don't know.
Triphid replies on Apr 3, 2020:
Normally ANY infection that enters the body triggers the Immune system to produce infection fighting cells in the bloodstream first. These are the 'skirmishers' of the immune system who go into attack the infective organism/s, then come the second wave, the heavy artillary for want of better term, they too attack the infective organism/s but also recognise the genetic material that makes up the infective organism/s and then passes that information back to the Immune system so it may make antibodies. The third wave, so to speak, are the anti-bodies and other immunity bodies that come along to act as the 'Clean-up Crew' to rid the bodyof the debris left behind when the Infective organism/s are destroyed.

He can't get a Plumber to do the job for under $1,200 and the Plumber ( Yes I was eavesdropping over the fence btw) can't do the job for at least 2 weeks. Maybe, just a very small maybe that is, I could tell the Evangeloon that there IS a newer and approved Polypipe available that anyone with a modicum of handyman skill can legally install for themselves, I used it 2 years ago when the ancient steel pipe from the water meter to my house finally rusted through. About $70 for a roll of 50 metres of Polypipe, $10 for the connections, a sharp box-cutter knife, 2 pair of 14" Stilsons wrenches and voila, 3/4 of hour later the jobs done, NO Plumber required and ALL 100% legal.
