I am a serious person, with real feelings. I have lots of compassion and empathy, probably too much. I am an unapologetic humanist, independent and politically progressive. I am 100% antitheist. meaning that I feel religion is bad and a form of self oppression. It is therefore bad for humans.

I'm pretty smart. Ok, really smart. I am a computer engineer and I won't really talk about what I do unless you are one too. I understand the function of systems and often get lost thinking about how things work, noticing code violations or safety issues. Super observant.

I make inappropriate jokes all the time. I say the things people think, or should think but never say. I clean up decently and can be around uptight people though.

One day I sat at my keyboard and was editing my profile. after realizing my profile was already long and meandering, I wanted to see if there was a character limit for this field in the application. So I started typing this passages of free flowing thought. There are riots going on in denver right now. It sucks that people are destroying others property instead of protesting peacefully. But when you are protesting an act as violent as 1st degree murder by a posse of men charged with preventing such things, it is hard to say there are any certain limits to what is a reasonable response statement. Standing on someones neck (without consent) is never cool. But I have unpopulat opinions. I got bored last summer and rebuilt a camper. It is ready to use this summer, but I really would like someone to go traipsing through the woods with me. Planing on buying some kayaks this week. Over 3500 characters and no limit so far. In fact I got tired of the browsers spell checking so I am using a word processor now. Remember in Misery how the typewriter Annie gave Paul had missing keys? Yeah, well not here… Anyway, I used to think I was quite introverted. Then we all got locked down. I learned I really wasnt introverted. Im just different/weird and that forces me to the edges of crowds and society in general. So I get to stand there and watch everything going on, not quite sure how to get in on all the fun. It’s an interesting place to be, but a very lonely one and I don't particularly enjoy being there by myself. It would be nice to have someone that can either enjoy those outskirts of normalcy with me, or bring me in from the outside so I can play reindeer games with the rest of the people. Well, I guess that is the end of this stream of consciousness for the moment. I should do this again soon. Or not… We now return you to my regularly scheduled profile.

I have my kids fulltime. 3 boys, one is almost an adult and the other 11 and 9. No, my exwife doesnt take care of them or anything like that. Yes, It is hard but I manage it just fine and am not looking to mix my kids into my dating life. I don't really want to introduce my kids to someone I don't know yet.
