I understand exactly what you're trying to say. I work with people on a daily basis that are seriously sick because of the beliefs, biases, and rules that were instilled in them as children. Beliefs can be so internalized that we don't even understand that they are beliefs and that we can change them.

Maybe that's why I'm so tough.
