When the coalition of the westernized governments and the MSM they use to sell that illusion bring us an event such as how Iraq went down, based on lies and deceit, knowingly, democracy is dead. When the democratic party and their lawyers go to court and argue they have no obligation to run a fair primary election and can chose their candidate of choice outside of the voters votes, then take the donations we gave to Sanders, democracy is dead. Democracy has been dying since the early 1900's. The democracy you think you live in is dead! By most accounts and pundits, we now live in an oligarchy. The whole westernized coalition is being ran by an oligarchy that's been slowly taking over the planet since the Russian revolution. They just haven't admitted it yet. And your children or their children are going to be trapped in it if we don't wake up and change that. Or when they do admit it, end game. UNEMPIRE!

Lets face it. Putin is the Russian equivalent of the Clinton and Bush gangs. He has as many ties to dead body's and criminal acts as they do. I wouldn't know who has more skeletons in their closets. There is a group of people who claim there is a cabal of the most wealthy, criminal drugs lords, politicians, and world leaders who make up a cabal that are actually running the world governments. I've watched some programs on Gaia that support this theory. And they make a quite convincing argument when they toss in the ways our banking systems launder money between the large drug lords, corporations, and banks, along with off shoring money and these foundations they create. Trump, or any president at that, or our most of our representatives really have a strong degree of control of what our intelligence agency's are doing. The interaction and or lack of between Trump and the FBI is a clear example that there are other means of control of how they work. Even more so would be the history of John Edgar Hoover as the FBI's director. Nixon was scared of him and Truman accused him of transforming the agency into his own private police force. Quote from Truman. " we want no Gestapo or secret police. The FBI is tending in that direction. They are dabbling in sex-life scandals and plain blackmail. J. Edgar Hoover would give his right eye to take over, and all congressmen and senators are afraid of him. — Harry S. Truman". With Trump's history, I'd imagine he has some degree of fear in the FBI also!

From the article (Police officers lie under oath in court so often that they've even given the practice a nickname. "Behind closed doors, we call it testilying," New York City police officer Pedro Serrano told the New York Times.) The article also goes into a Baltimore case where the Gun Trace Task Force stole "including police theft of "more than $300,000, at least three kilos of cocaine, 43 pounds of marijuana, 800 grams of heroin and hundreds of thousands of dollars in watches from suspected drug dealers and civilians," (Among the most sinister revelations was that some cops, on advice from team sergeant Wayne Jenkins, drove around with fake guns in their possession to plant on unarmed suspects they shot.) DA's in Philadelphia creating a cheat list of 66 officers whose well-established track records of falsehoods made them unreliable witnesses. I would consider these and the more within the article as blatant. Then you can add this onto why the public is losing faith in our law enforcement around the county. " Police lying is as old as policing itself, and like all culturally ingrained customs, it will not disappear without the sustained intervention of outside forces. That is especially true in law enforcement, an institution governed by its own insular codes of silence, conduct and reprisal for speaking out. The US government has never been deeply invested in seeing justice done, but the Obama administration had begun taking the most tentative of steps in the right direction by investigating abuses of major police departments around the country. But in his first speech after taking office last year, Attorney General Jeff Sessions promised to halt those reviews, just one aspect of his Justice Department's complete lack of interest in protecting civil rights, particularly those of marginalized people." What do you call it when an officer is in the chair and gives false testimony, then after the defense shows video contrary to that testimony, he's forced to recant his testimony? I personally believe that awards him a seat with the 66 mentioned above. At the least! How many innocent people are in jail from this around the country? Or dead!?! While nothing is being done to these people, of equal relevance, opening up us to be their next victim.

Humanity4all comments on Mar 16, 2018:
I believe Humanity is on the rise through a very slow and methodical process. The main problem I see is over population and the steadfast holding onto beliefs that are contrary to science and common sense, reason and logic.
William_Mary replies on Mar 17, 2018:
@Lancer I would argue all the warring going on now is over resources. Ask Russia, Syria, Libya, and Venezuela how that works. There are a number of experts who would also argue there is no food shortage or over population to fear at this time. They would argue that the present management and food distribution is the cause of hunger around the globe. Trade deal have killed small farming communities around the world adding to hunger in their areas, forcing prices up and migration. If there was a water crisis we wouldn't be allowing companies to make billions each year depleting our water sources. There are means to solve the apparent water crisis within technology that are being held back on purpose.

William_Mary replies on Mar 11, 2018:
While I can to a degree see a point with your opening, I strongly disagree with much of the rest. In the US there is a often a major debate within the establishment party supporters of who the media serves. I would argue that it serves only division of those supporters. MSNBC almost always leans left. And obviously on course to create hatred towards Trump. Fox obviously has almost always leaned right. Obviously on Trumps side. But the other MSM's are a mix this cycle with working against the right for the most part. Who usually go after the left. But even so, MSNBC and NPR are quite involved with spreading the same agenda as the establishment as a whole. When it comes to Iran, Venezuela, N. Korea and falsities of Iraq and Afghanistan, they're toe to toe with the right. So I would argue our establishment media is on course as usual to fulfill the agenda as always. As far as Israel, well they've been Israel for decades. No change there. Murdering innocent people for decades since the early 1900''s. With our help I might add. Putin, same problems Russia has had since the revolution. Combating the westernized world for a piece of placement ever since. Putin is just the Russian mirror image of the Clinton family. I can't really speak a lot on your issues in the UK. I've been under the assumption you're struggling to keep from becoming like us over here. If our forefathers were still alive, they'd probably move back! And taking the brunt of the middle east quagmire hasn't help any I'm sure! At least people in your country want to hold someone, Blair, responsible. While ours have grown to accept and stand silent as our government wishes to widen the chaos.

@birdingnut no, but he and or their conservative politicians are attempting to turn their country more towards ours. Privatization is beginning to hit the headlines there along with healthcare issues. The conservatives up there have made some gradual, slightly as they may be for now, changes. And it's beginning to raise some eye brows. Pushing these changes towards the healthcare system seems to have been mentioned in some news sources I follow. And the Canadians that follow the same independent news sources I follow aren't taking it lightly. Despite the managed perception here over their healthcare, they don't want anything close to the pos healthcare we have. And they aren't as engulfed in the illusion so many of us are. They know if they get a start on this no matter how gradual, it becomes to late when you least expect it.

William_Mary replies on Mar 11, 2018:
@atheist the value of its history is from its history, from many parts of the world. But one would have to actually follow the series, or read the books, which you already admit you took a pass on. So forgive me as I go out on the limb here as I claim ignorance on your part. It's fine if you don't wish to partake in the theory, your right. But debating it with only an attempt to belittle someone else's views in it that has a degree of insight you took a pass on is, quite frankly, completely disrespectful. Let me try to explain. At a time where these societies had no possible means of contact to communicate, yet built structures based off the same relative engineering designs above their understanding of their time. So is the theory. There's not to many experts who will argue this. These same societies also seem to have referred to other worldly beings as gods. Which I'm also attempting to answer another comment you made in another reply. It's not me or citronella claiming they are gods, this is merely the conjecture the archaeologist and ancient alien theorist arrive at. Who I might add, I don't recall any of them actually claiming they were gods either. Often showing how they resemble many Greek gods in some cases though, throughout different periods of societies. In which these societies seemingly explain these gods getting around, ascending, and descending in various ways on animals with fire and smoke. Weapons with great power we only know today. Again, conjecture of inability to know the possible technology they might be using. When you have societies from Australia, South and Central America, India, throughout Asia, Middle East, America, my god the list is like endless! It's not really to dam hard for us to put a thought into wondering what these people were experiencing, or want to. I personally find it highly fascinating that so many pockets of ancient societies had the same experiences while not having been able to know or communicate with each other while giving us almost the same indications of something, well, as they say, out of this world. Through art and various types of writing only each society would understand. Why be so intent on trying to sway another from wondering and exploring this spectacular part of our history? It just might hold an answer to our problems today. We have many as a society my god! Did I just say my god? :-)

@AdorkableMe I believe the purpose of the site was to serve the bdsm and alternative life styles community with a means to communicate and find others of like minded activities. It is set up as a dating site to a large degree. But that aspect is largely hampered with the amount of domineering men who often chase off potential females with un-consensual and unwanted rude approaches. It goes against the very grain of both life styles when the amount of these asswipes that do come in with the thought that within bdsm and alt every female is a 24/7 slave into degradation and humiliation. Which hampers any sincere dominants chances of finding a submissive type female. I've been on the site both by myself and with my partners for over a decade, probably close to 2, in which Mary and I have only met one person from the site. Which is a middle we currently share life with. Outside of the Cleveland club membership I've been a member of in a few occasions over the years. That's not an attractive percentage by any means. It works quite well for groups and clubs who especially have their own membership keeping up with their activities though. Right now, off the top of my head, I'd say that is probably its best quality other than for what I mentioned in my initial post. The site is also littered with females on a personal agenda of attracting people to porn sites, their own site accounts of various nature, including social sites, selling panties, etc. I guess maybe you could consider those an alternative life style now? Do you really think the law enforcement in that area don't know of them and what's going on? This is part of my problem with the immigrant issue also . They know where the bad apples are, yet they are spending our tax dollars going after a majority of law abiding citizens rather than the criminals. And how do you expect people to know whether the guy next doors gun is actually illegal? Unless they actually have a considerable amount of personal information about him. We have better things for law enforcement that to be chasing false claims.

There will always be a need for a capitalist nature to society. Even within a vastly socialistic run society. You can work everything out in a manor of trade, yet a capitalistic nature would be needed to place a value on materialistic and resource commodities. The 2 go hand in hand. The biggest problem with capitalism today is that it's main reason for its survival so far is that it's reaping the rewards of socialism taking away from society! And the common voter who today supports our liberal and especially conservative politicians and governing refuse to see this or are totally ignorant to the socialistic nature of our country and communities.
MeToo What do you consider sexual harassment?
koshkamat comments on Feb 12, 2018:
Well, the sexual harassment thing is a power dynamic - all of these men could EASILY get laid if sex were the goal. The goal is to humiliate the (usually a) woman. And in the social realm, just plain old being a pig is still perfectly legal. And as for these people who whine they don't know what ...
William_Mary replies on Feb 12, 2018:
Not all women are married. And even with that said, not all married women would be inclined to cry any aspect of abuse when an attempt of social flirtation is conducted. I have had married and or committed women grab me and or make quite forward comments towards me of a flirtatious nature. Do I label them as pigs also? Cry humiliation? Whine? I think it's quite a legitimate concern today as to how to approach a female when attraction arises for the male. I've even received some rather ugly comments and looks in recent years for holding a door open for women. Am I now to discontinue this gesture of once a gentlemanly thing to perform in society because a degree of females have determined it is some sort of disrespect? Hell, maybe I should quit opening doors for my woman then? Quit walking her to her door of our vehicles in an effort to safely get her in the vehicle first? Or place her on the outside of the sidewalk where it's more dangerous for a pedestrian. All in the name of what I consider a managed perception taking over our society. Don't get me wrong. I understand the nature of this issue and it's importance. I also understand that what we are seeing in the media is vastly an issue out of the range of most people on here which engulfs a class of people that have lived this way for centuries. Where do we as the norms of society draw the lines to avoid a managed perception being perpetrated onto us by the media in an effort I would argue are to divide us over the entitled population making the news today? The women of decades ago, centuries even, long gone who wallowed in this atmosphere to the heights of stardom and wealth today bare no negative retribution to this issue, yet today it's laid solely on the male population. And so we are labeled by society in our means to find companionship towards a potential life partnership? Yes, some go to far. Mainly those in a position of power to some degree. While the common men take the brunt of its negativity. The diversity of this issue is widely being ignored and men again are taking the brunt of it. I'm so glad to be set in this social aspect of life for the rest of my life! For fucks sake, good luck to those of you who are not.
Rise of progressive politics with Juan Gonzalez I caught this on Chris Hedges RT show last night.

I can’t seem to get the video to play right now. I will try again. Last year I took a sociology class on inequality and it definitely kept me involved and interested. So many problems exist in our society! It is very frustrating.
William_Mary replies on Feb 12, 2018:
Yea, it's still playing for me. If you have FSTV (Free Speech TV) you can get Chris Hedges show there. His shows replay a lot. Or go to the RT site and find it. It goes into how in 49 they forced parts of the population out of areas. And move into some of today's issues. Trying to create a certain class within cities. I'm trying not to spoil the video for you. I think you'll like it from what I'm reading in your reply.

@SimplyMe I think we are a long way from self driving trucks. Our infrastructure as far as roadways will have to be vastly modified to accommodate a combination vehicle for the size of a tractor with a trailer at 53' long! In the short term future I would imagine off highway terminals for redistribution to straight trucks into cities. Or they're going to be moving a lot of our shopping centers and groceries stores next to a highway or railroad. It can be a real bitch maneuvering a truck through especially large metropolitan areas. I don't care how much you modify a road with technology to self propel a vehicle of that size through a city such as some of those in New England, your going to have to take down the whole city and start over in some cases to do it safely without a lot of damage being done. Or as I said above, redistribute into straight trucks. Does that offset jobs for the industry? I've been through downtown Boston a couple of times, not going to happen with a self driving truck! Queens, New York City, Pittsburgh, no no. Hell, you get into some of the small towns in the boonies with Dollar Generals and stores like that, good luck on a self propelled truck that has to maneuver a jack knife to line up with their dock to unload! Is someone going to be with that truck in situations as this to operate it? Or companies have to hire someone to operate it at some point once it's there. N.E. alone offers a well of complications to the trucking and corporate companies that will cost a fortune to overcome. Scrap yards. All our steel companies have their own scrap metal yards a scarp company like mine deliver to. They will have to spend a fortune to self propel a truck into their yard to the right pile of steel to dump. Job security for me? I don't think I have to worry to much anytime soon. Fuel trucks. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not ready to see several thousands in gallons of any type of fuel rolling down the road by itself! Or any other type of hazardous and or dangerous material that by law requires a placard trailer. Who's going to operate the hoses once a fuel truck gets to a gas station or refinery? I hope they do a great job modifying the road into the refinery for self propelled trucks! Or move the refinery out in the middle of no where for when they blow up. I think we have a long time before we can afford the infrastructure for a reliable self driving trucking system. Right now just worry about how they're going to keep people from hacking into your self driving car!

@SherryMartin actually there is a climbing number of people in our age group going into trucking. With the current job market going tech, people with limited skills and education such as myself, more baby boomers are getting on the road trucking. Depending on where you get the training you can be in a new job in a month to 2. I met a lot of people well into their 50's and 60's that are new drivers unprepared for retirement And the school makes a difference to how fast sometimes also. I know when I went to TDDS it had one of the highest hiring rates for an independent school. Which is one of the reasons I went there. They also train diesel mechanics. They had 2 different classes to choose from. I think it was a 4 or 6 week, then an 8 week class if I remember right. Towards the end of your class representatives from some of the top major trucking companies come in and give a presentation to hire into their companies. A number of trucking companies have their own training schools. This reduces their chances of hiring bad apples that can lead to law suits.

@jayneonacobb yet with the control of all houses today they take more and more of that freedom from you. As the democrats steadily slide into their realm of our destruction in a team effort. The disguise of less government in few areas they use leading to actually more when the outcomes are weighed in. As it is handed over to the newest branch of shadow governing, the bankers and corporations who have bought our government.

All good people have to do to allow evil to prevail is do nothing. In this case say nothing. If we spent history in silence to the hypocrisies, in this case, and wrongs done onto society throughout history, we'd still be manged to believe the earth is flat and the center of the universe in which all evolve around. I give you Galileo. Just maybe she gave a pause to thought with her braveness to voice.
What is the value of money?
William_Mary comments on Feb 11, 2018:
Where do you place value? The market manipulates its value to a point of constant fluctuation. The Fed also controls the value as it prints during recessions leading to bailouts. Then there's the national interest rates. This all leads to a value point on consumerism. World currency games anyone? ...

@JackPedigo there in is the problem? In pretty much every aspect of capitalism and neo liberalism today. We need to start thinking differently to rid us of the criminals in government and corporations. Are they really just simplistic answers that can't work, or are they more in lines of the dividing propaganda speak used against any socialist government that has had the global empire oppressing and interfering with their ability to exist?

@Stevil with legislation taking away our tax dollars in subsidies could be a start. Disallowing foreign companies that have continuously created spills while avoiding safely measures causing deaths in some cases to operate here. Which can open jobs locally performing in a more environmentally safe and cleaner manor within states. Pipelines from Canada risking the same as above. Profits can then gradually be moved towards alternative energy. Yes, I'm more in line with the socialistic aspect of natural resources to be used as job creation in the areas they are. Over large corporations miking society to profit from and destroy the enviornment.
