I find just calling myself an atheist simplifies everything. I think agnostics are atheist in denial. I've had zero reason to pledge to the flag, I don't attend sporting events which are the only places I might encounter the anthem. I don't intend to stand for it anyway should I be surprised by a pledge situation at least not during this circus administration.

Evolution is intrinsically logically coherent, with each discovery I get more of a sense of "Of course it's like this" that comes from a deeper understanding. All the concepts of geographical isolation and the roles of environment, competition and socialization play really makes sense. As a Christian kid however I couldn't explain how the soul was dirtied by sin, nor should I have had to.
