I'm a 51 year old father of 3 (22 girl, 19 boy and 9 girl) and very active in the Humanist culture and community here in Phoenix AZ. I'm a Humanist chaplain and celebrant, the Program Director for Humanist Society of Greater Phoenix, active in Secular Coalition of AZ, and a Hospice volunteer for Hospice of the Valley.

I have been engaged in mindfulness practice since 2003, have a daily meditation practice, teach meditation at a Kyrene elementary school, and a Certified L2 Unified Mindfulness coach.

I Dungeons and Dragons (5E), and consider myself a "gamer", but work to use gaming to build community.

I love Audiobooks (sci-fi, fantasy, science, reason and learning) & podcasts (Sam Harris, 10% happier).

I've been going to Burning Man since 2003 and really enjoy the community.
