How do you like your steak done?
Zster comments on Mar 19, 2018:
Rare, but not a cold/cool center. Anything beyond medium rare is very difficult for me to choke down due to dryness and a stringy texture.
Zster replies on Mar 19, 2018:
Honestly, it reflects how my patents served it as I was growinh up. I cannot stand dry strings between my teeth, digging into my gums, which is how anything beyond rare feels (to me).
Do you like to go fishing?
Zster comments on Mar 18, 2018:
I grew up fishing with my grandfather. Later, I got my husband re-intetested in the sport. We did a LOT of fishing together, Large Mouth Bass in lakes, Smallies and Catfish in rivers, trout in streams. I lost my fishing buddy to cancer in 2006, and have not fished much since. Miss it, though.

My Facebook is where geographically distant family, work friends, school friends, and old church friends go to see how the kids and I are doing. I keep my disbelief close to my chest as being a known disbeliever could hurt me (at work) and has already hurt my kids at school. In the past, teachers ...
Zster replies on Mar 8, 2018:
Lol, neither did I. I could not make it much worse, though.
I need some new music. What is your favorite pretty song?
Remi comments on Mar 8, 2018:
Oh, and Fade Into You by Mazzy Star. Love love love that song.

Awesome track.
Cancer cure(s)
Zster comments on Mar 6, 2018:
No. Two reasons: 1. People working in Pharma lose loved ones to cancer same as everyone else. 2. A cure would be worth more than witholding it could ever pay.
Zster replies on Mar 7, 2018:
WTF? I work in cancer research. I have inside facts and experience. It did not stop cancer from fucking killing my husband!
Here is a pic of my Yoshi.

She's pretty. Also cat guys are hot.
Zster replies on Mar 7, 2018:
The few bug guys that I've known were married, but my impression was that they are fun! We need to keep a lookout for the single ones. I'm drawn to cat guys, too.
If we were going to create a "feel good" soundtrack, what song should we add?

Cancer cure(s)
LadyAlyxandrea comments on Mar 6, 2018:
It's lucrative to make customers not cures
Zster replies on Mar 6, 2018:
Have you ever tried to license a cancer treatment? (legit question, not being snarky). Defining the case and accumulating enough data, to say nothing of getting the govt to approve it is a very tall order and takes forever. Companies want to get their treatments out there, believe me. It's crushingly difficult work.
Any asexuals out there?
Zster comments on Mar 5, 2018:
Does she know of your asexuality and understand it? Is there an expectation that way? I sympathize with your feeling drawn while being ace. I am not ace per se, but understand wanting companionship without sexual pressure.
Zster replies on Mar 5, 2018:
My eldest child is ace, but longs for romantic love bonding, just not sexual. I hope things work out, but see it could be tricky and confusing.
Anyone here a Doctor Who fan? Bonus question, anyone a /Classic/ Doctor Who fan?
Zster comments on Mar 5, 2018:
Was a huge fan in college and did by the 50th annivetsary bit. Classic? Yes! Tom Baker fan, big time!

A VERY important question... so, what are you having for dinner this evening?
Zster comments on Mar 5, 2018:
Assorted finger foods left in the freezer from the Super Bowl: taquitos, spinaka tiropita, leek pies, and samosas. Quite tasty!
Zster replies on Mar 5, 2018:
I hear you. I like potato, but have to limit it (docto's orders). I prefer potatoes AS a fish, not as filler in one. Ever check out breakfast scrame items at the grocery. They ALL seem to contain potato, often mostly so.

Same here, as in the balance (not overpowering potato).
After all the pics of tits, boobies, cocks, and asses I realized I hadn't posted a good dik-dik pic.

Zster comments on Mar 4, 2018:
I precook lots of lunches and freeze then, then run home for lunch.
Zster replies on Mar 4, 2018:
Not really, but I like to eat healthy and cheap. (;

Not for me. I have body image issues and it's not safe on a Harley
Zster replies on Mar 4, 2018:
I wear dresses to hide in sometimes, but suspect that it WOULD be a hazard on a Harley.
What is your favorite kind of coffee, and how do you like it?
Zster comments on Mar 4, 2018:
I love a smokey very dark roast, even espresso. I love it as espresso (fine grind in my espresso maker) or coarse ground and brewed in a french press. I add a little creme and sugar, and like to pair it with a bite or two of smoothe dark chocolate.
Zster replies on Mar 4, 2018:
I woukd very gladly share. Coffee's great with company!

If you check the link in the OP, there are man skirts made of lighter or more breathable materials. Wrapped in wool in the US south during summer might kill a person!

Tominator comments on Mar 4, 2018:
My son talked me into trying out his kilt on a hot summer day, he told me how wonderful the breeze was waifing across the dangly bits. My dangly bits stuck to my sweaty thigh and then got crushed between the two thighs.
Zster replies on Mar 4, 2018:
Oh no!!! I'd suggest trying some body powder, but think I read somewhere that it contains carcinogens, at least the mineral kind (talc) might.

Hellbent comments on Mar 4, 2018:
I don't think I'd wear a kilt (I don't want to get too far into the field of ersatz scottishness) but in the summertime here, where it gets pretty hot, I often wear a sarong. Just about the house, mind you - I wouldn't be game to wear it to the pub.
Zster replies on Mar 4, 2018:
I've been known to do the same. Sarongs at the beach or as weekend wear at home. (:

My son wears one to his wife’s delight. It’s not for me. I don’t even like the towel around the waist. But I’m not big on belts either. The sensation of being bound about one part or another to support the weight of clothing or accessories is not pleasant. I dress like the Dude, or an ...

Funny observation. I have cats that do that too.
Zster replies on Mar 4, 2018:
I've got to wonder what it does for them. Only two of mine do it and one by far does it the most. It's the same one that "Dog sits" alot on his haunches. Will keep an eye out for any joint ills, I guess.
Just finished a great sci-fi mystery/thriller.

Zster replies on Mar 4, 2018:
Agreed, on both points. Back in the day, I was so drawn to "Andromeda Strain" that it influenced my decision to become a microbiologist.
