Craziest screaming white lady yet.

Damn! She's full on unhinged! YIKES!
I have really enjoyed agnostic.

Her caution might not have been learned at THIS site. I know most of my lessons came from OKC. Who knows, maybe you had the unfortunate luck to ask about HER neighborhood and freaked her out.
Holy molly freakin' guacamole.

Perfume and cologne: Yay or Nay?
Zster comments on Sep 13, 2018:
I adore fragrances! However, heavily applied, low quality, or cologne mixed with BO do NOT work for attracting me!
What kind of fish is for dinner?
Zster comments on Sep 13, 2018:
I particularly enjoy shellfish, and lighter fish (cod, snapper, flounder, roughy). I could kill for a mess of fried smelt! I would give much to enjoy my grandma's fried fresh caught fish, whether smelt, walleye, or bluegill... soooo good!

Yes! 1000 times YES! My entire life has been set to a sound track. (; Certain love-making songs have me classically conditioned to get in the mood...
While in your teens did you see your current age as old?
Zster comments on Sep 11, 2018:
Ha! My grandparents at 55 were a LOT older than I am at the same chronological age. ?
Sooo, here’s a question.
Zster comments on Sep 10, 2018:
That's a horrible thing for her to say or do! How would she respond to being asked to cut her hair short in order for you to kiss her? I think your look is very distinguished and would have no issues getting close to a man with it.
What would it say?
Zster comments on Sep 9, 2018:
NOT heartburn! Seek second opinion!
Time to tithe
Zster comments on Sep 9, 2018:
It's very aggravating. I had poor relatives who donated their retirement money to their churches. All they could see was that big number (big to cover ten plus years of income) while the pastor was guilting them that God would "grow" it if they were faithful.
Do you decorate your home for Xmas or any other winter holiday?
Zster comments on Sep 9, 2018:
I have always celebrated year end holidays for the reason of having extended time off so that we can actually gather with friends and family. It's not a commercial gorge-fest or religious for me, just a time for rest, gathering, and fun.
Teleportation or time travel?
Zster comments on Sep 9, 2018:
I found this to be a lot more difficult to answer than I expected... My knee jerk response was time travel, so I could revisit people who I have missed greatly, since their deaths, but... ARE time paradoxes a thing? Also, there are MANY times that teleporting would come in handy, but... ultimately, I would miss the journeys...
Since we're the fortunate ones who can sleep in on Sunday and not attend church services.
Zster comments on Sep 9, 2018:
I'll tell you what I do NOT do... RUSH! I lollygag at home as much as I want: sleep in, eat the breakfast of my choice, leisurely sip on the most awesome cup of coffee or tea that I feel up to preparing, and spoil my cats with cat nip and string or feather play.
Please be mindful in the coming season....

Ice cream
Zster comments on Sep 7, 2018:
I like ice cream more, now that I have discovered gourmet flavors. No ice cream shop sells any around here, though. I used to buy Three Twins Cardamom flavor when the grocery had it. Now, I will eat Pistachio gelato or Chocolate sorbet by Taliente. My absolute faves are home made. I have a French Vanilla that is a dead ringer for grandma's custard! I've also made decent basil and a rather unusual saffron recipe. Jamocha Almond Fudge is where I got started. I can easily see how you can love it!

Do you ever think it's appropriate for someone to give up on finding true love?
Zster comments on Sep 5, 2018:
I don't exactly like the phrase "giving up", but DO think people should NOT put their life on hold while seeking. Time can be precious.

Zster comments on Sep 5, 2018:
I would lay low until he either decides to or not to get close with this gal. Demanding that he drop friends, insisting on seeing private correspondence etc sounds like a potentially huge amount of drama to me, which I would steer clear of, personally.

How many other TV series bingers here?
Zster comments on Sep 3, 2018:
I binge different series with different people. Just this weekend, I wrapped up "The Office" with my son and ""Being Human" with my daughter. We've also viewed "Jericho", "Stranger Things", "Game of Thrones", "In Between", "The 100", "Reign", "The Frontier", "Downton Abby", "Contagion", "Borgia", "House of Cards", "John Adams", "Vikings", and "Outlander", to name a few off the top of my head... This does not count the many anime series watched.

Ridiculous Rumors
Zster comments on Sep 3, 2018:
Widows are apparently free game where I work. I actually had to fear for my job, the rumors of sexual indiscretions got so bad. Mostly, guys I rejected and insecure wives were spreading them. As recently as this year, I had an angry wife complaining about my going after her husband. It's all 100% false. I dated ONE guy in the last twelve years. I decided to focus on raising my kids after he threatened them. Sigh.

Ok ladies.
Zster comments on Sep 1, 2018:
Oy! Much of that list sounded a lot more like what my grandparents thought I needed! That said, a few resonated with me... These two because they were very true w my late husband: "Stay single until you meet a guy who is sure of you and never makes you doubt how he feels. The one who still gives you butterflies when you walk in a room." Trust in me and loyalty from him, just because, were WONDERFUL for our relationship (I reciprocated, of course). Ultimately, THIS is probably how I will call it: "Stay single until you meet the guy who makes you not want to be." (:
My morning lesson on being single, given by a sunflower in my garden.

An interesting new way to look at the non-religious and the religious. Where do you fit in?

How important is compatibility when it comes to taste in music, especially when together for ...
Zster comments on Aug 26, 2018:
It is rather important as there is some music that makes me prefer silence. I honestly would find it awkward to have to suffer through grating music in an effort to be accepting/polite. Conversely, I like to have music plsying a LOT. It woukd be awful for a partner to genuinely dislike it when I play so much of it. Having music tastes somewhat (does NOT have to be 100%) in common was part of what bonded us in my best relationships.

Do you ever think texting is going great but the phone conversation not so much.
Zster comments on Aug 26, 2018:
I know people for whom talking on a device is simply awkward for them. They prefer typing. In person, these same individuals are eloquent. So, the preference is not necessarily indicative of anything, at least in those cases. I can understand wanting more assurance before making a big drive to go and meet them, though.
My son is finally going off to university.

I hate running.
Zster comments on Aug 25, 2018:

Do you have houseplants? Please tell me what types or share pictures!
Zster comments on Aug 25, 2018:
I started off with a horrible brown thumb, moved on to succulents (green ones), and eventually started bringing home things that were interesting: currently, I have a parent and baby spider plants, a pitcher plant, and "Robert" (first photo), then upstairs, I have a snake plant, fern, lemon basil, amaryllis (blooms every year!), a christmas cactus that blooms nearly year round, "Spike" (third photo", and the phallic cactus which started out like the 4th photo, but grew like a berserk thing when the red graft died (2nd picture).

Who do you get along with better?
Zster comments on Aug 22, 2018:
I've generally had a strong distrust of women due to the nature of childhood bullying that I dealt with growing up. As an adult, I've discovered that many of the guys I was getting along better with had a sexual agenda, however inappropriately (when I was married). Now days, I get along on a case by case basis. I tend to mingle best with those who most WANT to mingle. Currently, that means mostly women and gay men.

What does agnostic mean you?
Zster comments on Aug 19, 2018:
To me it means that I've encountered no evidence to support existence of a deity. However, I find it a bit of a leap to presume that what I know of reality is the sum of all of it. There may be aspects to existence which my limited human senses cannot fathom or engage. Thus, I live my life as if what I see is what I get, while entertaining "what if" thoughts for fun.
My current situation ?who wants to join me?

What's been your favorite vacation?
Zster comments on Aug 19, 2018:
OMG! I've been fortunate to go on MANY amazing trips, not due to where we went, but who I went with and what happened... I sailed to the Dry Tortugas (from Clearwater FL) with my parents, took an aging cat and two very rowdy kittens tent camping with my late husband, have visited several amazing cities with my kids, spent a weekend in Paris with workmates... My fave has to be a tent camping trip (D and I had very little money, but found cheap ways to vacation) in the Florida keys, culminating at Bahia Honda State Park. We took moonlit bike rides every night at midnight, grilled seafood every day, snorkled with running Tarpon. It was hands down the most romantic trip ever, tough to convey how or why in text though. You'll just have to trust me.
Very little scares me. But, so does very big.
Zster comments on Aug 19, 2018:
Oh, that is SO good! I'm going to borrow it, if you don't mind. (with credit, of course)
What do you do for fun that also counts as exercise?
Zster comments on Aug 19, 2018:
Depending on the season: disc golf or flag/rifle twirling (I know I should have outgrown it long ago, but the motion has proven to be GREAT for my joints and much more fun than endless stretching).

How many here use or have used online grocery ordering?
Zster comments on Aug 18, 2018:
I order certain items from Amazon, mostly for convenience, to save money, and because stores near me don't stock such things. I have used ClickIt at Kroger. Dumb part is, they need more than a day to process your order. As I tend to shop as my supply runs low, that does not work well for me. Also, many items I shop for are not standardized quantitatively or qualitatively. I need to go and VIEW the merch.
Just got done reading this article posted by Planned Patenthood.
Zster comments on Aug 18, 2018:
Yep. Toys were a spicy addition in the marital bed, for both of us. We really enjoyed toys to be used during intercourse, stimming both of us. As far as buying... the privacy of online is wonderful, BUT, if I need something rather specific, I do much better when I can see the device rather than just a photo.

I miss you but my family needs me.
Zster comments on Aug 18, 2018:
This sure resonates with me now. If I define family as my children, it was totally true. They fully depended on me. My nest empties in a few weeks. I guess I will see what that entails after not being alone these past 12 years since D passed.

How long after you lost your significant other did you feel like dating again?
Zster comments on Aug 18, 2018:
Parts of me returned to life around month 9. I started with some online (only) flirtations around then. By the end of year 2, I seriously dated a colleague friend. That ended disastrously, largely killing dating for me.
I love this saying.

Let’s talk pizza... pan crust or thin crust?
Zster comments on Aug 18, 2018:
I am a sucker for a yeasty, stretchy crust, topped with high quality sausage, multiple types of mushrooms, a smattering of spinach, and a generous gooey blend of cheeses! I prefer thick hand tossed crust or a seared crust deep dish. I pass on any sweet toppings, unless it's a fruity dessert pizza. Sadly, certain health issues (GI, blood cholesterol, looming diabetes) have forced me into less grand pizza options, but I still find ways to enjoy it. I've had to drop tomato and spicy meats completely and had to pare down to the thinnest crust possible.

I might be stupid but if my partner who claims to love me more than she's ever loved anyone before ...
Zster comments on Aug 17, 2018:
Discuss it. It sounds like she comes ftom a place that does not celebrate adult birthdays, which is rather common. I never celebrated an engagement anniversary, an intent to commit at some point. I've celebrated the actual commitment if or when it happened. If such things "gut you" and render an "entire relationship a farce", you might want to reconsider being in one, or at least this iteration of one.
Ok, since politics is annoying me here is a random silly post.

Every short cut = instant regret every single time! My hair is MUCH easier to care for long. My natural waves end up cut somewhere near where they start which results in cowlicks and hair that HAS to be tamed to be presentable. Waves in long hair can add body to a straight look or be scrunched into tousseled curls. Easy peezy!

Healthy smoothies
Zster comments on Aug 15, 2018:
Protein work out smoothie without protein powder, based on a childhood egg nog recipe: 1/2c eggwhites, 1c plain soy or nut milk of choice, 2T quick cook oats, 2T PB2 (powdered peanut butter); 2t vanilla extract, nutmeg and cinnamon +/- sweetener to taste; add any other fruits (I use blueberries or strawberry now and then). I've substituted SunWarrior plant protein for the eggwhite or PB2, but do not like the taste as well.

Still friends with church people?
Zster comments on Aug 12, 2018:
Not close. We don't get together anymore because they only hang with fellow church mates. When we do run into each other, we are still warm and friendly. They don't know of my lost belief.
