NOT like most of the guys you're gonna' meet, I'm the type of man Thoreau spoke of that hears a different drummer, one who took Frost’s less traveled path. Negotiated million-dollar deals while finding time to teach arts & crafts to disabled children. Flown aircraft from biplanes to jets and home-made kites or model rockets with my boys. As comfortable dressed to the nines in tux and tails at a concert as I am skinny dipping in the buff. If you’re a sapiosexual you'll be excited to find me extremely intelligent and insatiably inquisitive. Well, maybe just insatiable, period. Fortuitously, the wisdom of years combined with the unavoidable abrasions of experience that comes with aging has smoothed away my rougher edges (and, hopefully, most of the less mature attributes of my personality) polishing them into reflective facets graced with a finely aged patina of Secular Humanism. As such, you will find me a sensitive and caring man who is not afraid of feelings and emotions while still being both strong and masculine. A renaissance man, seeking a rebirth …of love.

When the mood strikes, I tend to break out in song, usually a show tune or jazz standards. If you want to be serenaded, I'm your man. I've performed live as a Jazz vocalist at several local jazz clubs. I enjoy the outdoors, flying and sailing, jazz and classical music, the arts, conversation, cooking, loving and being loved. I’m pretty good at undercover activities too, if you get my drift! I’m told I have a good sense of humor, bad puns and corny jokes notwithstanding. I don't play games (well, maybe some SERIOUS flirting). I want to be your best friend as well as your lover!

I'm too young to act my age or to be trapped in my dad's body, so lets' hurry up and have some fun! “...come fly with me, come fly, let's fly away”. If you'd rather cruise below the clouds we’ll hoist sails in the coming breeze. Take a drive in my convertible or jump on a motorcycle! Too fast and free? Rather join me at a club, dirty dancing the night away? Too energetic? Let’s share a quiet evening together, a movie, a bottle of wine, feeding each other delicacies? Just relax, closer now ...let me peel you a grape.

Seeking that one special partner with which to share a mature life's experience with grace and style …while still having fun in the process! I'm a non-hopeless romantic who will give you lots of attention, expecting the same in return. I love hugs and don't shrink away from public displays of affection. I think intimacy is more complete when it transcends the physical (not that I'm discounting the physical). I know the value of simple expressions of affection like hand-picked flowers without an occasion. I enjoy cuddling and holding hands walking down the street. I'm ready for fun times, serious times, quite times, arguing (and making up) and sunsets, (sunrises can be VERY nice too). Maybe we'll share the simple pleasures, like falling asleep at night with you in my arms.

Retired from a career in science and technology, these days I'm painting, sculpting and sketching. My art photography gallery exhibit in Phoenix was a hit! I volunteer with Artlink and at "The Nash", where you might hear me belt out a few old standards. I’m an empathic fellow with a good balance of thinking and feeling who tries not to judge others. I recently paid off my home mortgage, stimulating me to figuratively trim my sails. On reflection, all the projects undertaken with youthful and energetic ambition now seem to be more burdensome than challenging. Forgoing action for meditation, hopefully to go more gently into that good night, I enjoy relax to the soothing sound of surf. I might relocate to Ensenada, minutes from the beach and sailing. Only a few hours from San Diego. I might keep ONE airplane just in case. A picturesque three-hour mountain crossing gets you to the 90°F crystal clear waters of the Gulf. If the beautiful beasts decide to cooperate day sail might even include whale watching!
