Born, raised, and live in New York City. Bronx HS of Science, Baruch College (CUNY). Fraud investigator, fairly successful. Married, no kids, one Blue Rat Terrier, Nora Mae, 9 years old. Author of the upcoming novel SCAPEGOATS (Golden Fleece Press March 2018). Previous writing NY Times, WashPost, NY Press. Raised in a more or less Orthodox Jewish household, eventually went through leadership training with the NY Church of Humanism (Joseph Ben-David, moderator). Personal research project: finding out-of-place information artifacts within ancient texts, particularly religious ones. Avocation alternative transportation and energy advocacy. You would be surprised (I was) at the level of crossover between ancient religious texts and sustainability.
