After leaving the country of my birth and traveling all over the world, living in other countries and joining some "spiritual groups and communities, the last one staying for 18 years in what turned out to be a cult, I became an agnostic and humanist after a very painful process of questioning all my beliefs. At the same time, it's hard to fill that void that it has left and it's hard to meet with like minded people. I live in a small town in northern California and there are no agnostic or humanist groups I could join or even just some people to get together to share ideas with
