The dryer could also be made more efficient by adding a honeycomb heat buffer between the drying barrel and the dryer housing.

When my kids were born their mother had refused to put me on the birth certificates. I had to go to court to even prove I was the twin's father, I did this with DNA proof. As the court case had progressed and the scales of me getting custody were tipped way in my favor the judge had ordered me to go through a series of requirements. One of these requirements was to go through a 6-week parenting class. In that class one of the instructional videos covered several of these topics. The one that stands out most is never comparing your experiences to those giving an account of their own experience. I have always liked psychology so with the statement "never comparing your experiences to those giving an account of their own experience" I did some research on the internet and was able to deduce the best way to approach an intelligent conversation. As the speaker was giving her TED talk I was able to recall many of the points she had made.

How can you give a cat a bath without getting her wet?
BufftonBeotch comments on Jan 24, 2020:
I had a cat that accepted a bath happily when got left in the crate with my roommates dog all day. (They were best buddies.) But this day there was a thunderstorm, and her dog pal was terrified of them. He terror pooed on her, then he saw what he had done and puked on her. My cat welcomed ...

I had a cat several years ago that loved to take showers in the kitchen sink if she was near and had seen the water running it was the one arm block to keep her from getting under that water.

I remember as a child (age 9 or so) our old Tom got really dirty. Dad told my youngest older brother, younger sister and I to give him a bath. Yeah right... So we found the old baby bath, partially filled it. Sis grabbed the front feet, I grabbed the back, and brother lifted the cat into the tub. ...

Hmm, first I was thinking to wipe her down with a wet towel, but I changed my mind. That might make a paste on her fur. Try brushing her A LOT. If she'll tolerate a hand vacuum on her that would be good. It'll take a few days, at the very least, of this and her cleaning herself to remove all of ...
azzow2 replies on Jan 24, 2020:
As you sent this suggestion I had started to brush her that is most likely the best solution. I had given my tiger cat a bath a couple of years ago (she had gotten poop on herself ) I think she still hates me for that bath.

@DUCHESSA On a logical level going green is just a transfer of wealth, in reality, going green wast just as many natural resources. If they would look at some common sense issues like better filters for our water and cleaning up the damage being done to the oceans by fertilizer runoff and teaching people to repurpose normally discarded materials would go much further with slowing down the effects of the damage being done. To just start making smart cars and pushing green energy seem to be very irresponsible.

@sassygirl3869 I have made California rolls years ago which is not as easy as you would think. We had bought the bamboo roller to make them it for sure takes some practice. From what I gather most of the fish cutting and techniques are what makes the sushi great as long as it has been deep-frozen. I know to stay away from things like blowfish because they have that tetrodotoxin which is very poisonous.

So you seem pretty sure it is a fox or something of that nature rather than a hawk or something. An air attack would be much harder to guard against.
azzow2 replies on Jan 21, 2020:
I have an aerial net over the top so it is unlikely to be a raptor. There is a small possibility of a ground owl although the geese are somewhat aggressive with a defense so that also is not very likely either.

Good fences are your best solution. Work hard to frame them well. Include anchors along the ground where just wire is touching the ground...or attach a strip of weather-treated wood and bury it.
azzow2 replies on Jan 20, 2020:
I already have it that way. The predator somehow chewed through the chicken wire around the top of the enclosures. I spent some of the day repairing the hole and some installing a new camera with a cross angle from the other camera.

I have devised a unique way that she is preserving the trophies that I prefer to keep private until I finely get the book complete and published. I have about 60,000 words. I got distracted and have not worked on writing for some time. I hope to have life breathed back into my inspiration. The first 60 k word came rather easy.

I have been noticing a lot of outside activity since I set up my cameras and motion detection lights. The other night I had a flash on the screen when the light came on, (cat), then 2 birds triggered it, and about 5 minutes later a coyote sneaked under my gate headed for my compost pile.
