You're reminding me, my grandmother was a wonderful baker. She made the best cheesecake; also delicious rugelach, which she was so exact about that she wouldn't let anyone help her. They're still some of my favorites, if they're made well. Actually, any well-made dessert is exquisite to me.

@RavenCT I ran the pain meds gauntlet, I chose to be opioid free about 8 years ago. I have considered asking the doctor for something what stops me is a lot to explain. Basically I went through a mountain of red tape to get custody of my kids. I do nothing to jeopardize what I worked to earn.

@Our_existence Several years back when I had lived in Allentown Pennsylvania a very good friend of mine is a world class trapper he lives in Kutztown Pennsylvania he also does pest control. He got a call from the university he had to get a Cayman out of the sewer.

From having served in the military and a Desert Storm vet, I was got to meet a lot of Muslim people got to eat dinner with some. From my experience, they just want to live life and raise their families as much as we do. The extreme terrorist Muslims are like the gangs ( Bloods, Crypts, SKS, etc) we have here right in our own back yards.

That is a justifiable phobia. When I was young we were on a trip to Yosemite national park. The trash was kept in the big heavy metal dumpsters the bears had taken their claws and ripped it open like it was a paper sack.

It did in Rhyiad when I worked there decades ago. Every Thursday afternoon. "Chop chop square" as we called it. We foreigners were encouraged to attend. Just like you described. I used to take a lunch. Kind of like attending a traditional bullfight.

That I would be surrounded by chickens. I absolutely cannot stand a chicken. So my biggest phobia is and would be to have to live in chicken coop for the rest of my life. next would be pigeons and sea gulls and no way to get away from them.
