He has personality. I have had several cats and they all are unique he only lets the kids pick him up and they can hold him upside down and he never fusses. He does try to trip me on a nightly basis and he guards my bedroom door.

I was having a hard time as well, nitrogen helps a lot (manure) also compost your kitchen scraps. I have noticed major improvements with the composted dirt.

@Sonja44 The geese are noisy enough, get the guinea fowl roosters and ducks riled they can be an orchestra. The turkeys are very quiet normally they do carry on if a snake gets in.

When I had lived in Pennsylvania the woman I was dating at that time had a blue and gold Macaw. She had told me that when the breeder let her adopt the bird that they said to limit the amount of sunflower seeds. The reason for the limit was sunflower seeds can be addictive and if a bird got addicted to them that the withdrawal could cause the bird problems. That was many years ago I have not looked up the accusation to verify the info.
