My take on this is if you are genetically predisposed to such a virus you are going to get it regardless of the precautions you take. The stress of worrying about it is more deadly than the problem. Moderation is the key in just about any situation.

The C.I.A is to deal with foreign affairs and because of domestic terrorism, the F.B.I has taken on a more complex role in foreign affairs which is more of a homeland security issue. The problem that has existed since the get go is inter-agency communications and the pissant politics that accompany the problem. The problem gets even more complied when Congress puts their snchnozes into the mix and threatens to withhold funding or intimidating lead investigators into sloppy investigations.
