Thinking back I may have wiggled away from a couple that thought they had me pinned down. There is no signs if someone wants to hide it you will never know. To get involved if is not your child is asking for trouble. Most cases is best to let them hit rock bottom, be willing to help them up. Do not use double talk and never blame them.

Not regrets, I have a back injury and it limits me. When I was younger was very physical. Had energy and stamina that was hard to match. At about 33 they discovered that have progressive disc disease. Slowed me down. Back then a 20 mile hike to bear rock was nothing.

When I was much much younger. I had just had a break up and was sulking in my beer at a bar. Got to talking to this woman and we ended up having a one night stand. The sex was good, I was kind of left empty after words something was off. The wham bam thank you mame was not fulfilling at all.

I firmly believe for every action there is a reaction. Formulation of an idea gets your synapses firing other chemicals in your brain become active. Something positive happens you become elated serotonin and endorphins kick in. something stressful often adrenaline gets stirred up and the tension begins. So now outside stimuli come into play your senses pick up cues the aroma in the air the sounds around you or the lack there in. The temperature on your skin. The visual cues. All this stimulation plays a role on the decision you make. Some of it can be controlled some of it is chaotic and random. So all that being said environment plays a major role. With the progression of events your decision is formulated.

I have learned that rejection is just another lesson in life.

I had heard of this police chief that would go out and watch his officers after hours. He would disguise himself and record both good acts and bad act. The police on his force were in some cases worse than the criminal. He eventually pulled in the bad cops and rewarded those that deserved it. He balanced the power. When the power is unchallenged the power will be abused.

When I was getting custody of my kids the judge had ordered several task for me to complete to have that privilege. One of the task was parenting classes. In the class there was a great example of how to approach such a problem. Had to do with not comparing your past with what your children were going through. To ask questions that they could relate to. Not to say you understand this can turn against you. Rather to say things of a positive nature.

The answer is complex for me my dad asked for a divorce because mom had an act of infidelity. My mom remarried to a guy that would travel when he was home he was an awful person to me and my younger brother. My mother had moved us far away from my dad. I was unable to tell him about the abuse at home. If I had as you can imagine abusers tend to threaten their victims with even worse punishment if they tell. Did not see my dad from about the age 8 until was 17.5 years old. After one rather violent innocent at home I left at 16 while my mother was still collecting support checks. Going to school at night I worked during the day. I had decided to join the Navy at 17.5 intended to dropout of high school to do so (I was held back a year why time frame seems off) I need my dad signure to do so. He invited me to come stay with him to finish and get my diploma. My dad had no idea what was going or that I was living on the streets for nearly 1.5 years.

Depends on the point of view. In some respects zoos are preserving endangered animals from becoming extinct at the hands of humans and other biological factors. They give veterinary insight to help animals that are in need in the wild. The captive breeding program insures less animals are taken from habitats. Helps to repopulate low habit populations. Teaches people about the benefits and dangers of wildlife.

When I was a freshman in highschool I had thought about being a career special forces, By my junior year FBI profiler was also on the table. After high school I joined the Navy watched too many friends have life problems. Returned to civilian life went to school got my teaching certificate 1, got into manufacturing the money was good had set school aside. Had a bad injury got into retail and maintenance past injury put a halt to that. Kids came along and had accumulated tons of knowledge life and observing. Ended up being a single dad devote all extra time to my twins. Helped out in the school. Now I am a poet, the pay is nonexistent and aspiring author.

Peoples defenses go up if you are too nice. When I was younger the girls I would date would say your a nice guy. Never had a repeat date, until I learned to add a tad of meanness into my demeanor. Think that this is most likely ingrained at a young age a stern warning from a parent. On a subliminal level people equate comfort with discipline.

Was an Pennsylvania Dutch He was a great friend, I do no get emotional about death when I think of memories of my friend Daniel, I do feel sad that there could have been more. His wife would invite me to dine with them. He was a tremendously good woods craftsman. If I could I would spend the day with him just making some project in his woodshop. Was such a good friend I gave my kids their middle names to honor him.
