My parents have been divorced since I was 1. My dad lives in eastern Pennsylvania and my mom in California. I spent time in both places. In Pennsylvania there are a ton of Dutch people. I had gotten to be friends with many of them, they are a world of common sense. They reuse and save just about every thing to repurpose.

Taking extreme responsibility when I fought to get my kids. To be a single parent with the 2 other lives to protect and tend to. Spent many nights on alert sleeping 20 minute intervals when they were infants. Just trying to do the right thing.

Was on mine watch, during Desert Storm. Just a day or so before that they had qualified E4 and above to carry a 45 caliber. So I was a boatswain's mate, which basically meant I was qualified for just about every job. The port look out had to do a head call. The captain happen to be on the bridge. He tells me he was going to take mine watch for me and to relieve the port look out. So I relieved port look out. I did a scan of the watch area. I was the first to repot all clear the next fantail all clear starboard look out all clear, mine watch all clear. About 5 seconds later a black ops helicopter was about 6 feet from my head quiet as a whisper. Was not sure was friendly or foe went for my 45 capitan said boats stand down. He walked out to port look out at this point said did not intend to alarm you. If they are good enough to get by you meaning me they are good. Was an awesome complement, think I just about crapped my pants over that one.

At work you have to be more decisive critical stuff making an error cost money so you are more aware. Posting here you are in a more relaxed state enjoyment so your ego is not as stressed so you feel comfort to make an error here you ultimately know you are able to edit it.

When I got back to the states the media would blast the U.S. has no business being in Iraq and they don't want us there. I was thinking to myself we pay these people to report the news. That is a tough one. If you have friends that work in the government they have ways to recover it. Just convince someone that there is details about a crime on it you might get some help recovering it. There is a company that will recover it I have not had a need to use it and do not know the name. I had ran across it looking for ways to recover lost data on a broken thumb drive.

I think it depends on DNA and environment. If you make a mistake and learn from that error it is a building block for common sense. However keep making the same mistake with no improvements you could have missed the elevator to the common sense floor.

Was a tough case in school. I had one teacher get to me she showed me a way to learn like no one else could. She would have me teach another pupil the material. If I were able I would like to thank her for making me smarter than the average bear.

You find a way. My kids mom has schizophrenia and child protective services took them away at birth. I was helpless because she refused to put my name on the birth certificates (twins) Had to go though oodles of red tape and physiological evals, DNA testing, fingerprints , background checks, parenting class. My kids were in foster care for the first 3 months of their life. The foster family was not allowed to make medical decisions for the kids. They for whatever reason had them on soy milk neither one of them could have a bowel movement. I had to just about beg the doctor to listen to me to have them put on dairy based formula. The regular forster family had gone on vaccination the stand ins let my infants get sunburn while they were at some sort of sporting event. The judge in the case showed some mercey in the 3rd month gave me sole custody with the provision that the mother had a protection from abuse put on her with a 1000 yard no contact. Lots more b.s. that my family caused us. I was able to buy a home far away from that situation. We have a great life out here in the country, my kids are going on 7 years old. It took a lot of heartache been away from my family over a year now, not once has a single sole put any one of us down

The main thing I think about with that situation is. We as a society show more compassion for a hurt, sick, old or mentality deranged animal than we do for people. We seem to think it is somehow right to prolong people's life that are in agony. Seems a moral issue to make someone suffer with out relief.

Last count was 19. when I was 7 would grab hold of a lose electric wird, it tickled was right near the bath, got stuck in a whirlpool when I was like 8-9 nearly drowned , almost choked to death on a shish kabob meat we had just learned the heimlich maneuver a few days prior to that a fellow boy scout applied it to me, Was in a car accident 9-10ish no seat belts flew from back seat cracked windshield, Lighting hit the ground about 6 or 8 inches from my foot was like 11ish, I could go on you get the point how I am still alive.

They still consider automobiles to be a luxury , how many people rely on them to get to work.

Installing HVAC doing ducks demolition still have scars from sheet metal and duct tape bandages. Got freon in my eyes first time, I plugged in a vacuum regulator. This old freon the stuff that is very expensive today can't remember the exact R rating R22 and R12 come to mind.

My brain would race out of control gazillions of thoughts at once never ending never shut off. I had met some with the same issue and we had talked after a few days I never had that problem again. Don't get me wrong I still think a gazillion thoughts, somehow from that one experience I learned how to control them. My thought were so complex and intense people would accuse me of being on drugs to which I never did.

Was in college it was not doing a lot for me, kept baffling the professors. I would ask such complex questions they would say, I will have back to you on that one. Found that I taught myself a lot more than what I had to learn in a text book or a lecture. My cat mopes all day until the kids come home. The ferrets follow me everywhere they have this curiosity to check everything. Dogs stand at the back door wait to be fed they are addicted to milk bones like a addict to heroin. The leghorn chickens all come when I open the coop all the others chickens are afraid except the one rooster want to fence some times. Ducks all quack and carrie on for the food. Solifugae had just learned about this a few months back. Lots of people mistake it for a spider. We have them in the states. I have heard of the camel spider back in Desert Storm never thought to look them before. They have no venom but they can make you sick because of the old carnage that is on their fangs.
