Do you get bored often?
Clauddvon comments on May 22, 2018:

I remember back when my kids were five and eight years old, my family and some cool in-laws were at the Smithsonian, going crazy looking at all the cool stuff. My kids were almost hysterical seeing all their favorites..the Hope diamond, the first airplanes, when we passed a group of teenagers lounging on the staircase up to the ceiling displays. As we passed, we heard one girl say, "So what are we going to do? I'm so BORED!" My "aunt in law," husband, kids and I exchanged glances, then we all burst into suppressed laughter. For years afterward, we would joke that we were "so bored" when in an exciting place.

@sarahjustme The only "cis hetero" man I was with who didn't do "rabbit sex" was my last ex, We divorced in 2010, and and he/she came out as both bisexual and nonbinary female in 2016. I had another ex who was slightly good, but he was also highly female in behavior traits, so I suspect that any men you met who were any good were heavy in female characteristics. Besides, like I already said, I don't WANT sex with anyone. I only feel sexual attraction after over a year of being with someone, and then just for that one person. Otherwise, I don't care.

birdingnut replies on May 21, 2018:
@seafarersd You don't put a strange bird in a cage with a parrot..you simply put the other bird's cage in the same room so they can interact visually and vocally. If the Eclectus seems uneasy, just move the other bird's cage a little further away until he relaxes. After they seem to be bonding, you can bring the cages closer. Eventually, both can be out of their cages, but on separate tree perch stands.

@Ceaselessmind CBD oil is different from smoking weed. Studies show that it is the CBD levels that affect bipolar disorder recovery. "The father from the United Patients Group reported his son had great results with cannabis strains that had a CBD:THC ratio of 20:1, but he also said they had even better results with isolated CBD in oil form. Another man claims that CBD oil was so effective he was able to quit his conventional antipsychotic prescription. But the way that THC and CBD interact may also be important. In 2012, a man named Miles Houser wrote to a Harvard professor who was collecting case studies on cannabis, stating that after running the gamut of conventional anticonvulsants, antipsychotics, and antidepressants, high-CBD cannabis had been the only thing that worked for him." birdingnut replies on May 21, 2018:
@Faithless1 LOL! Your curiosity about a subject unfamiliar to you is typical of someone with a high percentage of male characteristics. Most cis, hetero females I know, with strong female traits, show little interest in anything not directly related to their families, communities, or jobs. The only instance where a typical cis hetero female would show curiosity about gender diversity is if they had a child, close relative, or friend who is gender diverse. Then, all the ones I know, at least, often blame and criticize those people for not being as they "should" be. I know all this only too well (sigh).

birdingnut replies on May 21, 2018:
@Faithless1 "Intersex" is when babies are born with genitalia that are indeterminate of gender, such as an enlarged clitoris that resembles a small penis. They often have physical characteristics of both genders, such as males developing breasts, girls growing excessive body hair, etc. Androgyne, is when the fetal brains are initialized by hormones from both genders. Everyone is, actually, but androgynes are further toward the middle of the gender trait sliding scale.Typically, the closer to the middle of the scale, the higher the IQs, according to some studies. Often these people are highly athletic, beautiful, and often pursue careers such as being film directors, writers, musicians, scientists, etc, but because they often lack basic courting instincts many can't maintain long-term relationships. For instance, a famous study found show that the only thing successful long term relationships had in common was that the husband was willing to yield to the wife in all things. Since most/many androgyne men have a high level of independent, critical female traits, they often refuse to listen to their wives, and divorce soon follows. Think of the famous people, movie stars, etc. They are beautiful but often have serial relationships.

birdingnut replies on May 21, 2018:
@Faithless1 Yup..most high IQ creative people are, whether or not they realize it. If you are agnositic, that means a statistically higher IQ, so your male traits percentages are probably higher than the average cis woman's. Studies show that cis people on the extreme ends of the gender scale..the most femme women and most macho males, have the lowest average IQs. If your ring fingers are longer than your index fingers, that indicates high levels of prenatal male hormones.

@JackPedigo I've been traveling and birding in remote national parks and swamps since I arrived in Thailand in 2010, but in 2014 I was ambushed near the beach while I was taking a photograph of a bird, by a man who had hidden near where I'd parked my motorbike.I was nearly killed, and he stole two cameras and all the money I had on me. When I woke up, I didn't know who I was or where I was, but somehow walked down the road to a small police station and explained to them, in Thai, what happened to me. The police drove me home and brought my motorbike in a pickup truck then took me to the hospital. They said there were no skull fractures so I was OK to go home and recover so I did. I lay in bed for days and my Thai friends piled a stack of bananas near me. It took me a month to learn to walk again. I prefer someone who can go with me into these dangerous areas. When my ex visited me in 2013 to try to persuade me to take him back, we went camping on remote islands and had a load of adventures. But I also saw he'd not changed, so didn't go back to him. He's not given up, though. I am also an avid ballroom and jitterbug dancer, love to body-surf the waves, etc, so no couch potatoes for me. No point in having a relationship with someone who is out of shape, a couch potato, eats junk food, and can't keep up with me..may as well be single. You can take cannabis in more ways than smoking, which doesn't give people enough THC to cure cancer- it takes cannabis oil. Or you can take CBD oil, which also calms people, raises their moods and is legal most places. It also cures seizures and other problems.

We learned common North American animal and bird tracks, how to make and shoot bows and arrows, throw knives with deadly accuracy, etc. When we arrived in the US when I was nine, I was excited, thinking that I could finally join the Boy Scouts. To my horror, I was shunted into the brownies with GURLS, where everyone sat around in a living room and ate cookies and planned other meetings to do the same thing. No knots, tracking, camping, or even going outside at all. I was disgusted and never returned. But later on, when I read The Tracker: The True Story of Tom Brown Jr., where he tells of being trained since he was eight by a genuine Apache Indian elder until he could walk among wild deer, trailing his hand over their backs, and they never saw him, and could track ants across bare rock, etc. When he first attended a Boy Scout troop he was shocked at how silly and urban it was.

@Heraclitus LOL! Pye doesn't explain anything beyond our earth's history. But alleged secret government whistle-blowers, who say our government has been secretly using alien technology since WW ll, say the aliens themselves all agree that there is a "Source" energy that created all of this, but that they don't know where Source came from. But they say Source isn't anything like the Hebrew god..it's just universal energy and love. They say that all beings above fifth dimension are benign, and it's the ones in the third dimension-earth, or the fourth dimension, such as the Draco reptilians are war-like, and usually want to destroy humans, but the higher dimension beings prevent them. They all agree that humans have to give permission for any aliens to mess with them at all, but that the Nazis made a deal with the Draco reptilians during WW ll to get the technology to win the war, and when they lost, the technology passed on the US and Russia when the US made a deal with Hitler to let him escape to South America, in exchange for the alien technology. See the documentary "Unacknowledged," on Netflix and YouTube to see videos of US presidents, NSA agents, scientists, astronauts, and other famous people discussing how the US government keeps everything to do with aliens highly classified, to keep from sharing their advanced technology. As usual, if you try to troll me, I'll just block you. Instead, watch the documentary before you comment.

Why the goverment of india cannot give a solution of rampant rape case in their country?

At the risk of being attacked by the cis gendered, and those who believe in the religious teaching of the "gender binary" paradigm, I have a strange notion..that maybe seeing women as inferior is a hard-wired male trait, that can take over, if strong women don't keep men in line. I am androgyne, ...

@LeighShelton One good thing that happened is that I accidentally discovered that a common Thai herb used as a muscle relaxer, blended my two gender modes so that they were no longer in conflict. I'm now aware of what is happening in both gender modes, and they are at peace with each other instead of feeling hostility and resentment toward each other. I often wonder if double gender modes is behind much of the self-hatred, cutting, etc. that people of mixed gender often experience.

@JimmyM Yup..a troll just arrived. It's like some cis hetero white male making the pronouncement that gays are choosing their orientation, or that blacks aren't being shot by police. My point is that some of attitudes are hard-wired..like your own snide, condescending attitude. And yes, I will block you. I have no wish to talk to someone like you, even if you are hard-wired to sneer at women.
Hey Everyone!

Hello newbie. I'm one too. Welcome.

Really? You identify as male on your profile.
I've been considering the implications of current trends in technology.

A lot of countries are already thinking about this and some countries are trying out a system of 'universal basic income'. it seems to me that that will be the way forward. We will have to find new and better ways to deal with more leisure, though.

Our bread and circuses could be sex robots, to keep the men happily at home getting nonstop BJs with robots that can resemble and sound like any woman they choose.
Well my favorite Louie Lamour book is his early one which was made into john Wayne movie! Hondo!

Do you know Robert B. Parker's book Appaloosa? It's good. Also a good film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pz0ta7CW1aA
birdingnut replies on May 9, 2018:
I read the book many years ago, and didn't like it, but maybe the movie is better.
Ok, I made level 7.
birdingnut comments on May 9, 2018:
Hmm...I must have missed the hallowed level chat room on my way to level 8. You get an Agnostic T-shirt when you reach level eight, but I'm living in Thailand, so too expensive to ship me one until I move back to the US. Since I'll be moving to Lexington, KY, maybe I'd better not wear it in ...
birdingnut replies on May 9, 2018:
@Palindromeman Not voluntarily: I'm currently too old to get a work permit, and now have health issues which have delayed my leaving. I would never leave on my own, I think. If I could afford the retirement visa requirement, I'd probably just stay here, but I haven't been back to the US since I moved here in 2010, and want to live near my daughter in Lexington.
Has anyone heard of Gaia? I so please tell me your experience

Yeah, it’s vague non-sense
birdingnut replies on May 9, 2018:
Hmm..easy to say if you've never seen UFOs or had friends who were abducted and traumatized but don't dare mention it for fear of ridicule in the US, where the government and media suppress all such news. If you dare to look something you've apparently been trained to ridicule, watch the documentary "Unacknowledged" on Netflix and YouTube, to see actual videos of Hillary, Obama, astronauts, NSA agents, scientists, and other famous people discussing the classification and hiding of advanced government technology and interactions with aliens. They say the government claims to keep the information hidden to prevent panic and collapse of financial markets, but it's really so they don't have to share the technology, and can do as they wish with it.
Why do we continually want someone we can’t have?
birdingnut comments on May 9, 2018:
At the risk of being trolled by the religious "gender binary" crowd, who think "all females" and "all males" are exactly alike, the trait of "falling in love" and longing for the unattainable is a male trait, found on the right side of the hemisphere of the brain (where studies show most male traits...
birdingnut replies on May 9, 2018:
@ejbman I doubt it. You only "see" the articles and books within your own interest/belief paradigm. I have no wish to start debating with you and I will block you if you start yelling "fake news!" and acting all know it all. I really don't care if you believe it or not. Just move along to another post and troll someone else. I know what I'm talking about, having lived as gender fluid (that means the person switches back and forth between the gender mode sides, and in my case I didn't even remember what I did while in the opposite gender modes). I only became a blended androgyne, aware of being both genders modes at the same time, after I started taking the Thai herb, derris scandens, which blends me into an androgyne, able to remember both sides. If you continue to go after me, you will be blocked. I'm not interested in your opinion since you apparently have never specifically studied this, as I have.

Hi Birdingnut, nice pictures. do you ever miss being at home ? I would like to visit Thailand, the folk look very happy. A great place to give my camera a treat.
birdingnut replies on May 9, 2018:
Thanks! Yes, it's paradise, and a photographer's dream. I would probably never leave voluntarily, but I'm now too old to get a work permit, and have health issues, so plan to move to Lexington, KY, near my daughter.
