Yes, that would be great..but cannabis helps with that, LOL! By the way, since you are new you may have noticed this website has a bit of a learning curve. For members who are open to dating, certain thumbnails and profiles have a heart symbol on them with a percentage. This identifies which members are open to dating, and the percent shows approximately how compatible others are with them. You can improve your website score in general by uploading a recent, clear photo of your face, answering all the profile questions and writing a bio, which also earns website points, and helps other members get to know you. Commenting on posts and writing your own posts earns more points. At level two you can private message people, and at level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt. If you want to date, the website uses profile algorithms to find member matches, so the more details one includes, the better the match. Many people prefer to see a written profile talking about interests, hobbies, and backgrounds that can be quickly perused to find others who are compatible with them. In case you didn't know yet, to find members near you, click on the "Browse" button at the top of the page, then on "Members," and enter your preferred search parameters. Click on the "Discuss" button, then "Nearby" to find members near you also. Or click on the "About" button at the top left of the page to find links to FAQ or the website tutorial. Points are now being given to level 3+ members who chat. You can see chat rooms on the group main page or at https://agnostic.com/groups/rooms.

birdingnut comments on Aug 20, 2018:
True, but according to research done with children ages 2-6 worldwide who remember past lives and whose memory details were verified, we've all lived lives in all those times, and not just as humans, but as animals, ghosts, and even trees. I have many books in my Kindle library with research done those areas. Most Americans are taught to ridicule it, however. Both my sister and I were born remembering past lives and I've since remembered many more. I even googled some of the more traumatic events, and found the details of what I remembered to be accurate. We have lived those lives, but when we reincarnate, apparently our memories of those past lives quickly fade. Most US parents just laugh at their girl toddlers when they say things like "When I was a boy, I used to.." as my youngest sister used to do. She says she still clearly remembers her most recent reincarnation as a boy and how we laughed at her when she mentioned it.

Been watching a lot of YouTube lately about atheists and free will.
birdingnut comments on Aug 19, 2018:
We have more freewill than most animals, who must build nests and dens the same way, court the same way, etc. to survive. We can at least choose what kind of housing and clothing we want to use. But of course we are limited by our DNA, upbringing, social status, physical health, etc. Someone who is under five feet tall couldn't choose to be an NBA star, for example.

Since we are creating our own universes, it's up to us. There was a meme trend for a while to mock young men who wear fedoras, as dorks who don't know what fashion group to follow, and who will die alone.

Better make it permanent. Like I keep advising people, defriend and block toxic people from online social media and your phone. Don't contact them again. If someone asks about them only say that you've "grown apart." Then start attending community activities where people do things you also enjoy..i.e., hiking, boating, playing acoustic music together, bird watching, book clubs, etc. Google to find local Meet ups that have activities you enjoy.
So what’s for dinner tonight?
birdingnut comments on Aug 19, 2018:
Sounds delicious! I have to eat the same things every night to keep my stomach happy, so I'll be eating a one-serving can of Thai spicy sardines, a small handful of cashews, a dried date, and a handful of mung bean sprouts.

I mistakenly thought I was dealing really well with all the bullshit in my life.
birdingnut comments on Aug 19, 2018:
From your comments, it seems you're not the one at fault in most cases. If people are taking from you and not giving back, criticizing, blaming you, etc, those are people to dump from your life. Now. Been there, done that. Stop contacting them, defriend and block them from all social media, and if someone asks you about them, just say that you've grown apart. Block their numbers from your phone, and be "too busy" if someone invites you to an event where they will attend. If you must attend anyway, just act bored, say, "Uh-huh..that's nice" if they try to talk to you, and walk away. Start attending community events and activities that interest you, go to meet ups where people are doing what you like to do, make new contacts and friends.

birdingnut comments on Aug 19, 2018:
I home schooled my kids until they were middle school age...mostly because they started reading before they were two, and were reading stacks of library books by four, doing algebra for fun at five. They tested at college level, able to enter a teaching program by 11 years old, so I knew sending them to public school would only frustrate them. I got divorced about then and they did have to enter public school but they brought their own books to read during class so they wouldn't go crazy with boredom. They teachers were intimidated by them, since they knew more than they did, so let them do what they wanted.

If you could be immortal, would you or no? Give an explanation for your choice
birdingnut comments on Aug 19, 2018:
You must mean our physical bodies. Also, immortal in what way..stay young and beautiful forever? Or age, then stay old and wrinkled forever? Do we keep handicaps and birth defects also? We are already immortal anyway. Einstein taught us that all matter is a form of energy, so since energy can neither be created nor destroyed, we have always existed and will always exist in some energy form. No reason to think energy souls don't exist, and quantum physics already tells us different dimensions exist.
