When I start thinking of God the first thing comes to my mind is where it is and how it looks.

Are you a believer in god? If so, you should find somewhere else to get dates-this is an agnostic website.
If you believe in God, what are some unique things of your God.

Hi, Dushyant, and welcome to the website, This website has a bit of a learning curve for dating. If you answer the profile questions and write your profile, listing your hobbies and interests, you'll earn website points, and members can get to know you. Commenting on posts and writing your own earns more points. At level two you can private message people, and at level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt. The website uses profile algorithms to find member matches, so the more details one includes, the better the match. Many women prefer to see a written profile talking about interests, hobbies, and backgrounds that can be quickly perused to find compatible partners. In case you didn't know yet, to find members near you, click on the "Browse" button at the top of the page, then on "Members," and enter your preferred search parameters. Click on the "Discuss" button, then "Nearby" to find members near you also. Or click on the "About" button at the top left of the page to find links to FAQ or the website tutorial.

It's not what we have in life.
birdingnut comments on Jul 21, 2018:
The most important person in our lives is OURSELVES. All that hoping some man will come along and "rescue" us is Disney nonsense. In my case, I've been training my own horses for trail riding, roping, jumping and driving since I was ten years old, so I wouldn't be wearing an apron and leaning up to adoringly kiss anyone.
Turn Back Time?
birdingnut comments on Jul 21, 2018:
If you mean my physical age, sure I'd turn that back to my early 20s. If you mean go back in time for a re-do, no way. I'd never get married or have kids if I had to do it over. I'd just head to South America right out of grad school and begin teaching all over the world. Better I stupidly blundered ahead with my life, making mistakes, etc. then never doing those things at all.
I understand there will always be a generation gap.

The Thai movie theaters do the same things with the big touch screens to order movie tickets. I don't read Thai well at all, so I usually just call one of the staff over to do it for me.
Ghosts- what are they really?
birdingnut comments on Jul 21, 2018:
Einstein taught us that all matter is a form of energy, so since energy can neither be created nor destroyed, we have always existed and will always exist in some energy form, and quantum physics already tells us different dimensions exist. I dunno about "ghosts" as most people describe them, but in research done on children ages 2-6 who remember past lives, the accuracy of whose memories were verified by researchers, many of the children reported being ghosts between reincarnations. The incidents they described happening while in this state were verified as well, so I suppose they do exist. I've always been visited by loved ones at their moment of death, or simply experienced their deaths with them. I'd start crying and tell my husband what happened, asking him to verify the time. I was always right. I always hoped I was only imagining, but I never was. When I visited my ex's home and we camped in the yard for a family reunion, during the night I was visited by his late dad in a vivid dream. We chatted awhile and he told me how he met his wife, what she was wearing and how she looked, and told me he approved of me for a wife for his son. When I related the story to my ex the next morning, I used the words his "dad" used, and they were the old-fashioned words of his time. My ex verified that's just how it happened and those were the expressions he used.

Fossilized snake in Amber over 99 million years old.
birdingnut comments on Jul 21, 2018:
Cool! The Sumerian texts don't tell the Garden of Eden snake story the way the Bible told it 2000 years later. The "Serpent" was the top Sumerian genetic engineer, and the name meant "wisdom." The Serpent felt sorry for the all-male gold mine slaves he'd already genetically engineered, using alien Sumerian DNA mixed with that of human apes..they couldn't understand they were enslaved. So he and another Sumerian geneticist secretly engineered a female human, who would be smart enough to know this. Their first female was too savage..too much Royal Draco DNA, so they made Eve, and the second try was better.

Yeah, Netflix is putting up some great, campy, low budget sci-fi disaster stuff. Not much thinking involved, or expense, except for a few extras to scream in the streets and some CGI to paint the sky with smoke or flames as some vague "menace" is approaching. Throw in some love lorn couple trying to find each other in the chaos, and you have a movie. Also some inexpensively produced time loop movies, where things keep happening over and over and the only sets needed are only a few blocks of a town. The characters are amusing, though, and you don't have to invest alot of thought.

What can non-believers use instead of texting OMG? Any suggestions?
birdingnut comments on Jul 16, 2018:
Nothing wrong with OMG. There's no god, so who cares?
Hi, Y'all.

Hi! Welcome to the group! I'm a nonbinary partial transmale, living as an androgyous female (with a lot of male-like behavior).

What's worse is that Sacha was taken seriously by the Conservative politicians. Which was Sacha's entire point, of course. This follows the Juvenalian satire example of Jonathan Swift's 1729 "A Modest Proposal," which suggested taking care of the Irish overpopulation problem by eating Irish children. This satirical proposal was also taken seriously by the British government at first, and they weren't happy to realize they'd been duped.
What is your favorite kind of Ice Cream? Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry?

It's ALL good, but I'm partial to chocolate/pistachio.
Anyone here ever been ticketed on a bike (bicycle, not motorcycle)? Just curious...
birdingnut comments on Jul 16, 2018:
Sort of. In 1976, when I was 24, I was riding a bicycle past a Louisville, Ky, middle school in the afternoon-I was working nights, and got "arrested" by a middle aged truancy officer, for skipping class. I tried to tell him my age but he ignored me, ordering me to come with him back into the building. I thought he was retarded..until I also reached middle age, and college kids looked to me like elementary kids. At that time, my youthful looks weren't funny - whenever I tried to apply for a waitress job at an upscale restaurant, the manager would order me out, threatening to call the police if I tried to enter again as an under aged kid. Sales clerks would follow me around the store, sometimes ordering me to leave the store, even though I had the money and was ready to purchase. When I had my second baby, when I was 31 years old, ladies at the new church we'd joined thought I was a teen mother on welfare.
I'm visiting NC, this week.

Ok, I've been trying to figure this out on my own for weeks now with no luck.

I would love to go slow dancing.
birdingnut comments on Jul 15, 2018:
I usually include ballroom dancing as one of the requirements for a prospective dating partner. Otherwise, why bother? I'd rather be single, then at least I can go to dances and find my own partner.

C'mon. Men are jerks in general...unless focused on seducing you, which they almost always are if you are halfway attractive. Once they are satisfied, though, all bets are off. Or the woman is smart enough to follow "The Rules."

Sounds like people you didn't need in your life anyway. You can google atheist, community, or meet up groups to join that do activities you also enjoy..such as hiking, bird watching, ballroom dancing, sewing, weaving, singing, etc., or volunteer to help clean up local parks or national park trails.

I usually look slightly exasperated, make a remark that there is no god, then proceed to block, defriend, or walk away from them if it's in person. I think they're morons and just want them stay FAR from me.

This made me cry, but I suppose some white woman Trump supporter would have called the police and had him arrested for hailing a cab while black.
This is one of the scariest things I have read since Trump won the election, and every time he opens...
birdingnut comments on Jul 15, 2018:
I agree.."I've got a bad feeling about this" doesn't come close. But how many Conservatives can or will read it? NONE that I had ever met! Even liberals probably wouldn't read a detailed report that long. Someone would have to make a picture time line, break it down into bites that won't intimidate people.
Its one of those nights.. I want to put my tux on and go out...I just have no where to go.
birdingnut comments on Jul 15, 2018:
You're the guy..call someone up and ask them out. As for where to go, a quick google search will show you events within driving distance. Or go by yourself as I prefer doing anyway.
Ok, it's been a while since I've reached out to you all.
birdingnut comments on Jul 15, 2018:
NO. I would never even be friends with a religious person. You're apparently already co-dependent on the sexual relationship, and looking for permission to continue your tryst, for some reason. If you want to use him for sex, then dump him afterward, then that might work. But cutting your losses NOW is far better.
Fear of Death?
birdingnut comments on Jul 14, 2018:
NO. I was born remembering a past life, my sister did as well. I later remembered more than seven more past lives and even googled several of the more scary events I remembered, and found that the details were accurate. Einstein showed that all matter is a form of energy, so since energy can neither be created nor destroyed, we have always existed and will always exist in some energy form. "For physicists, the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion." -Einstein.
Damn, It's saturday night and I ran out of beers this early. Time for a store run.

So...you think most women like men who drink excessively? I suppose some women drink too much as well, so you'll always have someone to date.
"I don't think she's really having an affair," Bob had said, "she's not that interested in sex.
birdingnut comments on Jul 14, 2018:
I once thought my husband was a gay on the down low. He still might be, but also slept with every married woman he could seduce. He also paid more attention and showed more admiration for the women's husbands than for the women. He always acted like he had "man crushes" them. He probably preferred married women for affairs so he wouldn't be expected to support them.
