Hi, Gawlerj, and welcome to the website, You earn website points, and help other members get to know you better, when you write an informational profile that includes your hobbies and interests, and answer all the profile questions, since that's the first place many people look when they see a new member. Also, the website uses your profile to find member matches, so the more details you include, the better the match. Then you make comments and write your own posts to earn more points and privileges; for instance, at level two you can private email people. You get different perks with each level, and when you reach level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt. To find members near you, click on the "Meet" button at the top of the page, then on "Members," and enter your preferred search parameters. I had similar issues with my body, revolted by it, didn't want to see it, couldn't look at photos or into the mirror. I would panic when in long term relationships, sometimes feeling trapped and only wanting to escape. I always blamed my mom because she wouldn't touch me when I was a baby, so she wouldn't "spoil" me. I also blamed my dad because he never noticed me except to insult or punish me. But in my case, my solution was entirely different from simple abuse. Even though I'm currently 65, I didn't realize until 2014 that I'm a partial transmale, with a well-developed male personality on the male side of my brain-about 60%. Once I realized that, and also found that the Thai herb, derris scandens, cures dysphoria and blends my gender modes, I was OK, and the dysphoria and self-body-hatred vanished.
The god delusion is a very great book.

birdingnut comments on Jun 20, 2018:
Scary! Try meditating where you relax, sit back, focus only on ambient noise, letting your mind go blank. Eventually, you aren't aware of the passing of time, and later you sort of "wake up" as though you'd been asleep. This accesses your subconscious, which remembers everything, and when I do that, I usually soon remember what I'd forgotten, or think of solutions to sticky situations.

Skip the American Medical Society-Big Pharm addictive, dangerous drugs and take CBD oil for depression. It has no side affects and also cures many serious health issues, such as seizures. Taking long early morning walks resets the thyroid for higher mood and energy. Eating cold water ocean fish gives you Omega-3 oil which heals the mind, and at WalMart you can buy St. John's Wort, 5-htp, magnesium-all of which calm the mind. You can order derris scandens herb, which has a calming affect (and seems to cure both gender dysphoria and dyslexia symptoms), on Amazon. You can order Mexican sarsaparilla powder online, which stimulates the body to produce more testosterone, which can smooth out depression.

Why are women scare of meeting men ?
birdingnut comments on Jun 19, 2018:
Hi, Eric, Women are afraid of meeting men for good reason. Many of us have been sexually assaulted, often in public places and by people we thought were decent men. In my case, by a doctor who was giving me a physical when I was 15 years old (I later reported him to the medical society), and also by someone from church whom I'd dated once before and thought was safe. Jesus was just as bad. He told the parable about the king who had his citizens slaughtered who didn't want his son to rule over them, he told the Gentile Canaanite woman that she was a dog who didn't deserve the crumbs left over from what he gave the Jews, he told his followers to give away everything they had to follow him, and to leave their families, even to hate them.

Aliens: Are we alone?
birdingnut comments on Jun 19, 2018:
According to secret government whistle-blowers, I've been reading about since the 1950s, the US government has been in cahoots with aliens and their technology sincen WW ll, but keeps it classified, suppressing all UFO reports and ridiculing people who report them, so they don't have to share the technology. It must work, because most Americans seem to believe the US government. The documentary, "Unacknowledged" - seen on Netflix and Youtube-has videos of US presidents, scientists, astronauts, NSA officials, even Obama and Hillary, acknowledging the US has this technology but is keeping it secret. Besides, I've seen hundreds of UFOs, usually with a witness or even with groups of people, both in Haiti where I grew up, and in the US during the 1960s-1970s, but didn't see much after that until one obviously human-derived UFO flew over my farm in 1998, when I was star gazing with a date. It was about the size of a small house, and rotating slowly as it flew at low altitude. I could see through the oval portholes that it was lit inside. American people puzzle me how brainwashed they all seem to be, calling UFOs nonsense, when they are taken for granted in many other countries.

What are some effective ways to get out of your broke, depressed, hopeless slump?
birdingnut comments on Jun 19, 2018:
They say that CBD oil stops depression and also heals many serious issues, such as seizures. Other stop gap measures..take a long walk at dawn to reset your thyroid for elevated mood and energy, eat fish, put a few drops of food grade iodine in your drink, also listen to upbeat favorite music since studies show it's as effective for raising the mood as antidepressants. You can take 5-htp, magnesium, St. John's Wort-all found at WalMart, and cheap. Powdered Mexican Sarsaparilla (root beer powder) also raises the mood, and stimulates the body to produce more testosterone, if it's low. Get a cuddly pet, watch funny Netflix shows, avoid highly processed food as the additives can affect people. About being broke, you can tap into your unconscious, which never forgets anything and is able to tap into forgotten information, by doing a modified sort of meditation where you get comfortable, then focus on ambient noise. Keep doing so until your brain sort of goes out of focus and you find yourself sort of "waking up" later, with no awareness of the passing of time. When I do that, I find the answers just coming to me, things start working out, ideas pop into my mind.

Powdered Mexican Sarsaparilla (root beer powder) also raises the mood, and stimulates the body to produce more testosterone, if it's low. You haven't posted a photo, haven't written a profile and didn't answer any profile questions. That is how the website algorithm finds matches for you, so I assume you aren't here to date. I don't usually respond to people without profiles, since they could be anyone, married, or even a criminal. Please fill out the information.
Great parenting! So this guy, this girl, and her kid stopped by earlier.

I don't get it. Why are you putting up with this? Put their stuff on the lawn, change the lock, then MOVE, if necessary. Delete them from all social media. Don't mention them again. If someone asks, just say it didn't work out.
I own guns.

Hi, Josh, and welcome to the website, You earn website points, and help other members get to know you better, when you write an informational profile that includes your hobbies and interests, and answer all the profile questions, since that's the first place many people look when they see a new member. You've already done half of that already! Also, the website uses your profile to find member matches, so the more details you include, the better the match. Then you make comments and write your own posts to earn more points and privileges. You get different perks with each level, and when you reach level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt. In case you don't know yet, to find members near you, click on the "Meet" button at the top of the page, then on "Members," and enter your preferred search parameters. Or click on the "About" button at the top of the page to find links to FAQ or the website tutorial. Click on the 'Meet" button to find member matches Links to FAQ: https://agnostic.com/faq, and a website tutorial: https://agnostic.com/welcome
How come?????
birdingnut comments on Jun 17, 2018:
This website is filled with software glitches..my message notification has only worked sporadically since I joined, despite numerous complaints to customer service. Also, my text sometimes disappears from things I've already posted. Editing does no good, because the update doesn't change it.
I can't adhere to the idea of a God who is somewhat human etc.

Holiday this weekend: so many are ruined by the drama of a toxic person.
birdingnut comments on Jun 17, 2018:
Eeek! Some of you have unbelievable experiences. I could tell you about my own family but I'm too ashamed of what they did to talk about it..I try to pretend it never happened and avoid most of them, except for polite messaging. Suffice to say, as my ex once commented; "Your family wouldn't cross the street to p-ss on you if you were on fire." Well, they could do more than that when they wanted revenge for my not letting them have my parents committed to a nursing home when my retired parents were still perfectly healthy, so they could sell the family farm and get the money.
For those with extremely devout religious relatives/family members who adamantly believe you will go...
birdingnut comments on Jun 17, 2018:
Hi, Ludentium, and welcome to the website, It's simple; only look at them, smile, and respond to your relatives ONLY if they are speaking about neutral subjects and being friendly and kind. The moment they start talking religion or begin to berate you, become vague and distant, look distracted, murmuring, "Um-hum" in a patronizing way, look at your watch, then say something about being somewhere and LEAVE. And don't return for a long time-hours, days, weeks, if needed. it only took three visits to train my parents to stop attacking my children. By the say, you earn website points, and help other members get to know you better, when you write an informational profile that includes your hobbies and interests, and answer all the profile questions, since that's the first place many people look when they see a new member. Who has/had the best singing voice of all-time? My vote goes to Whitney Houston.
