People are still using phones? I hate them, since they force you to stop what you're doing and talk to somebody when you don't want to. Just message people, and let them answer, or not.

I was conversing with someone who does not believe the US ever landed men on the moon .
birdingnut comments on Apr 10, 2018:
Secret government, NSA, and astronaut whistle blowers have said for decades that the US did both..they both landed on the moon and faked a landing for the cameras, since the original landing showed alien structures and vehicles. See also videos of interviews with US presidents and science leaders admitting this, in 'Unacknowledged," seen on Netflix and YouTube. I tend to believe them more than the US government because of all the things I've seen with my own eyes, that the goverment denies. By the way, skip the trolling, since I'll just block you. I've learned that this website can be as bad as alt-right ones if you post something people don't agree with.

Yeah..like when I read the Sumerian texts and realized that the Bible was just a poor copy, so NOT true. I felt profound relief.
What is your earliest memory of a film (or scene) that really, really scared you.
birdingnut comments on Apr 10, 2018:
No reason to scoff so hard at Big Foot sightings since many solid citizens have seen and even photographed them, plus several times people have been killed by them, tractor tires pulled off heavy equipment in remote national forests, etc. I'm totally annoyed/bored with constant naysayers who think if they've not seen something it can't possibly exist. Several times when I was out hiking in remote places in the middle of the night, I heard something roar. It's not anything you can describe..like the roar of a male gorilla but so loud it seems impossible, and the noise just keep building and building until you think your ears will burst. It only happens if I'm talking, or otherwise making noise. This happened to my entire family when we climbed a remote hill at 3 AM to see a comet, but it happened to me when I was only camping with my ex in national forests. By the way, don't bother to troll me..I'll just block you. There seems to be as many trolls here as the alt-right, if I post something people don't agree with.
Believers are always asking me, "If there's no god, what's the meaning of life?
birdingnut comments on Apr 10, 2018:
I'm here because when my pre-chosen (by me) parents conceived, my "soul" was ready to pop in and be reincarnated. No reason, except to enjoy more experiences. This is from reading many studies of 2-6 year old children who remember past lives, and who also remember the process, and the inbetween time when they were ghosts. Their accounts were verified by researchers checking the childrens' remembered details, conversations, etc. Also, I was born remembering the inbetween life, a past life, and coming to earth. My sister did also.

Dragon: real or not?
birdingnut comments on Apr 10, 2018:
The dragon myths are so universal and detailed one can only speculate that the secret government whistle blowers are correct..that early humans interacted with aliens, some of whom were dragons. Here in Thailand, dragons are considered good luck and their pictures are everywhere. I also wear Thai dragon T-shirts.
What are some of your favorite childhood memories?
birdingnut comments on Apr 9, 2018:

This Is How Many Hours It Takes to Make a Friend
birdingnut comments on Apr 9, 2018:
Interesting. Because I'm partially transmale, I'm wired to do the "male bonding" thing where people work near each other, say on a mutual project, discuss politics or sports, joke around, or do some sport together, or eat near each other. Less talking is more. But because of my 40% female traits, I can also sort of fake the female bonding thing, although it quickly tires me. I'm not really all that interested in everyone's new babies, cousins, weddings, funerals, and other such gossip that seems to fascinate all cis hetero females from childhood. I also hate decorating, social events that involve ceremonies, having to make preparations, shopping, changing clothes, etc. Unique, ethnic, and interesting outfits do interest me, since I design and make my own clothes.

birdingnut comments on Apr 8, 2018:
No. You quickly get used to seeing others naked, and since being nude doesn't imply impending sex, you also lose the sexual reaction, at least for women. I suppose, for most cis, hetero men women being nude or clothed makes no difference to in their desire to have sex with them.

Clay mask to heal acne?
birdingnut comments on Apr 8, 2018:
Eat a clove of raw garlic just before bedtime (to spare your friends the smell during the day). This often clears up skin overnight, but if done routinely, will keep skin clear. Add vegetable juice, or other fresh, raw food to your diet. You get acne when your body gets too acidic. Limit processed food, skip sodas. Get outside for a walk in the sunshine.

What is the definition of the word ‘god’ exactly to you?

Do you tell your spouse or partner who hit on you?
birdingnut comments on Apr 8, 2018:
Many years after my divorce, I realized that when my ex was hitting on the wife of any couple with whom we were socializing-as he always did, both the husband and wife were also hitting on ME. As a demisexual, I didn't respond to their flirtatious overtures, but they were there. I was simply blind to them. I recalled the women trying to engage me, smiling, tossing their hair back, looking me up and down approvingly, etc. Their husbands would be beside them, flashing furtive, openly admiring looks at me, while my ex was doing his best to impress the women. I was clueless about gender issues then, thinking of everyone as being binary heterosexual, despite being a partial transmale.

Do animals have "souls"
birdingnut comments on Apr 8, 2018:
Like I keep saying, everything is made of energy, time and space are an illusion, and and since energy can't be created or destroyed the animals have always existed, and will always exist, in some energy form, so in that sense, everything has a "soul." Furthermore, studies of 2-6 year old children who remember past lives often remembered being animals, trees, and even ghosts inbetween reincarnations, giving details that were verified.
I have loved to dance since I was in junior high school and learned I had rhythmn.
birdingnut comments on Apr 8, 2018:
Sure..love it! My strict Methodist dad didn't allow us to dance, and neither did our Haiti mission, but my mom loved ballet. I began clog dancing, clog square dancing, etc when the kids were still little, and taught them to clog as well. Where we lived in eastern KY, entire communities of several generations would gather to clog dance for hours, at local national parks, to live bluegrass bands...SOOOO fun! I took free swing dance lessons at a Baptist church in Lexington, KY, then we'd go dancing at local bars. After that, I began paying for community dance classes to learn jitterbug and ballroom. My ex became an expert dancer as well, and we'd hit a dance every weekend.
Does anyone on here have really religous friends?
birdingnut comments on Apr 8, 2018:

How often do you foot the bill at a restaurant?
birdingnut comments on Apr 8, 2018:
I offer to pay only if it's visiting friends or family from out of town I seldom see, and I'm the one who invited them to dinner. On a date, the guy pays, or that's our last date. I don't want a freeloader, or to pay my own way after I took the risk of meeting some stranger. We pay for our own food if we're just friends.
New here and very curious how everyone crossed the line so to speak to your current level of belief ...
birdingnut comments on Apr 7, 2018:
I had a United Methodist missionary family. Although I was devoutly religious, they were liberal. When I began reading the original Bible in Hebrew and Greek, I realized 98% of what the churches teach isn't in the Bible at all. The bad behavior of Christians I knew-racist, hateful, condemning, xenphobic, homophobic, etc., finally convinced me to drop church. After I read the Sumerian texts, written 2000 years before the Bible, but the same stories, I stopped believing in Christianity altogether.
Just do it.

birdingnut comments on Apr 7, 2018:
The movie was about a lucky "felix felicis day" for Ferris Bueller..with everything going his way, and even his arch enemies helping him and getting their just deserts. Probably why it's so popular, even though I still can't bear even the illusion that the beautiful red rosso corsa 1961 Ferrari 250GT SWB California Spyder was allowed to crash backwards out a window. It was a non-functioning replica, only good for crashing, but still..it hurt to watch.

If you scratch a pig with a long stick right where the hind leg joins the body, in the space between the belly and leg, the pig will freeze, then suddenly flop over in a semi-catatonic state. Lizards and snakes go into spasms of pleasure if you stroke them under the chin. They'll even try to follow you when you start to leave. When I encountered them in the woods or desert, I used to pet them, then run for it.

Anyone ever lose touch with their kids because you turned away from Xianity?
birdingnut comments on Apr 6, 2018:
No, my kids were agnostic before I was. But a good way to change the negative ways of others is to use behaviorist methods. Totally ignore them. Don't talk about them, post about them, or bemoan your fate to anyone. Act like they don't exist. Get busy and happy with your own life and act like you forgot about them. Since the point of blackballing is to punish you, they'll soon start making overtures. Whenever they actually say something positive to you, ONLY THEN notice them-look at them, smile at them briefly, then go about your business. No clingy, needy, desperate behavior. Just act like you are preoccupied with more important things. If you only acknowledge them when they say or do something you approve, it won't take long before they are the ones trying to get your attention. Just stay cool, and have many friends and activities to occupy your time so you don't give the impression of some lonely, sad person-which would only encourage your family to scorn you.
Were you one of those people who had a lot of friends growing up?

If you mean traveling in a time machine and being able to observe from the machine, I'd like to see the dinosaur age. If you mean going back and time and being born, then I don't want to go back at all. Women are barely treated as humans now, and older societies often treated women as chattel.
