Recently out of a 17-year marriage, the ex and kids live in America, whereas I returned to Britain to lick my wounds. The kids love it over there, it's like a permanent holiday for them, so I haven't the heart to drag them back to this rainy old place. Tentatively dipping my toe back into the water.
