I am the matriarch of an eccentric and somewhat dysfunctional family. Fortunately, my children have emerged into happy, successful, well-rounded adults. They each have unique insight, compassionate wisdom, and their mother's sense of humor. What more could you ask for?

I left my job and my home in Western NC in 2016 and moved to Tennessee for an artistic sabbatical. I loved it so much I never returned. I am right on the Pigeon River in Hartford, where the only industry is whitewater rafting.
