Raised as an agnostic, my parents encouraged me to take time and research and pick my own religion. I honestly looked at quite a few, but you can imagine how that went.

I don't think about religion a lot except for the fact that since about 2010 the threat has become real; legislation that harms anyone not inline with the right's thinking is a reality now. I am dedicated to ensuring that every human has an opportunity to be the best person they can be, on their terms.

I have hated the evangelicals since the "moral majority" days. I considered Jerry Fallwell my personal nemesis since the 7th grade. I thought that once they died we would move on. Now their kids are in positions of power in the gov't and it has to be stopped.
