My use of atheists agnostic is due my desire to be precise, as simply atheism refers to belief and agnosticism to evidence; and my use of spiritual in an appeal to pantheism, which is not just technicality but essentially in compliance. I’m critical of new age philosophy in general. However, even subtle inquiry would reveal quasi-animistic sensibilities. I'm adamantly opposed to anti-theism, because it’s unnecessarily contentious and counterproductive to the ultimate objective of secular humanism. Even if religion's net effect is negative, it is unwise to “throw the baby out with the bath water.” Currently, I’m attempting to refute physicalism and affirm some type of idealism while remaining at least compatible with rational skepticism
