I am an occupational therapist and the director of rehab services at a large SNF in Southern California.
I grew up in a fundamentalist Christian family - my parents are anti-feminist, quiverfull, paranoid religious with aspects of evangelicalism /Pentecostal Christianity.
I went to a Christian college and majored in theology, which was the beginning of my deconstruction (because I actually read through and studied the Bible and the history around it).
Got married while I was just beginning to deconstruct, he ended up being a disgusting criminal using me to try to hide his crimes. Now he’s in prison and I’m (almost finished) divorcing him.
My daughter is a year and half old - the love of my life. I love kids and animals. I currently have a dog and two chinchillas.
