I had the same problem, and was told by my doctor to start taking magnesium supplements. It seems one of my diabetes medications depletes the magnesium in my body. So, I need the supplements to make up for it. I also take a leg cramp medication, before I go to bed. That, plus the magnesium has made me leg-cramp free for several years now. But, to be on the safe side, I keep a chair next to my bed. So, that if I get a leg cramp, I can support myself on the chair-back, with one foot on the floor. Then, I force the sole of the other foot squarely against the floor, and stand there a few minutes. That usually makes it go away.

Does anyone have a good recipe for holy water?

I suppose it would depend on the aliens' level of technological evolution. If they were Stone Age, or Early Bronze Age, Earth-bound religions would see them as potential converts. If Iron Age or later, Earth-bound religions would view them with greater caution, and suspicion.

Only a small minority of people in any military are in the combat arms (infantry, artillery, armor). Most are logistical support people, like you find in any warehouse, or loading-dock. And most would be ill-equipped to handle the insurgent side of an asymetric war, which would necessarily be a hybrid of an underground, and guerilla conflict. Veterans would prove useful in the recruiting and training component of an insurgent movement. Or as paramilitaries for the counter-insurgent (i. e, government) side. Whatever the case, unless a large chunk of the regular military were to suddenly desert, and join the insurgents (not too likely), it would turn out to be a long (10-20 yr), affair.

If true, this could put a fork in Trump.

I had a house in Colorado that had linoleum in the kitchen, similar to that depicted above. I also had a stray cat I took in, who developed a bad case of hairballs. Someone told me that if you put Crisco on their paws, that would do away with the hairballs. So I tried it. It didn't do a thing for the hairballs. But it sure did make that cat spin out, whenever he ran into the kitchen!
