Do you have any friends or family members you can take a loan from? Or perhaps any credit cards that you could use to stay in a motel for some time? What I would do is stay out of the house as long as possible only to come back when she was going to sleep and then live my life at night heh. I would also use weekends to get out of the house and stay at friends' as often as possible, even spending the night. Please do not be afraid or ashamed to reach out to family or friends or peers in your program at this time for help. So she criticized everything from our attire to our hair to our skin and just gave us things to hate about our appearance. But as a toxic narc hyper focused on looks, she felt threatened by our youth and her aging and felt she was in some twisted competition with us! The most fckd up was her getting jealous of attention I got from my father.... she assumed it to be sexual when it never was. I also strive for people to see beyond my appearance (I would say I am avg looking) and to like me for my good traits and intelligence rather than just look at me as a fck toy to be used (they don't get to since I am demisexual, but it still hurts. :/ )
