I was born into a Catholic family and attended until I was 15. I went for a time to Baptist churches after that. I found that between my skepticism about religion/gods and the homophobia I encountered among the orthodoxy of Catholicism and Evangelical bodies I studied their claims and found them inconsistent and untenable. I now spend my time studying science; especially, biological science, animal natural histories, and birding give me a great deal of satisfaction and pleasure.
