Disco music. Super strong black coffee. Voltaire. These are the things that keep me going day-after-day, slogging slowly through the existential dread. Though mostly sunny and steadfastly oriented towards positivity, compassion, and lemon-bright outbursts of joy, I tend to think of myself as at least moderately logical. I like facts, but I'm sure they never tell the whole story. I will happily entertain different opinions but I refuse to fight or argue about what's in someone else's mind. While I don't believe in "god", i do believe the physical universe is based on strict and intricate laws of interaction and balance that can explain the way we live just as accurately as it describes the motion of a planetary system. Quantum physics, consciousness, and fantasy (NOT science fiction, there is a difference) are the most common subjects on my reading list these days.
