Born and raised in the High Desert. I am thankful I was not indoctrinated into a belief system. My mother made sure of that. Although she was a spiritual person, she raised me to be a critical thinker, to find truth, to find my own path and not to jump on the band wagon. I do not really fit a mold. More unconventional if you will. Be interesting to find more like minded people like me to share a conversation. I am more conservative than I am liberal although I do have some liberal beliefs. I am a strong advocate for the separation of religion and government and I believe in the freedom for everyone to practice religion as they chose. I used to be somewhat of a believer, but realized I was doing it for inclusion more than anything else. I hope I live to see the day when religious people are the oddities of society and not the other way around.
