@Surfpirate Serious enough for me to create a landscape full of gardens. It keeps me busy with hours of relaxation and excitement. The lifespan of a flower shows me how fragile and short life is. I appreciate how all the plants in our garden depend on each other to give us a wonderful show each season. I'm learning by trying new things with an open mind. Sometimes I make mistakes in the garden and in life. Magic is overcoming challenges and my garden helps me with that.

@PeacefulMary Sounds like our Romeo. Any quick movement makes him nervous. We got him very young from a shelter and keep him inside. flower_nut replies on Nov 7, 2018:
@KateAmy Nova Scotia is my home and lived here most of my life. I haven't been to very many places, but I've seen Cape Breton. After that journey, I want to go back. On our last day of the trip, we planned on a tour of Louisbourg. It was pouring down rain and decided to cancel the tour. We call Cape Breton the high lands and after the road trip around Cabot Trail, I see why. The north mountain took my breath away and the trails through nature are my reason to go back. If you enjoy trees changing colour this is a beautiful place to enjoy it. I love many things when I finally see it and Cape Breton is one of them. For those who don't know where Cape Breton is it's connected by a causeway on the north end of Nova Scotia. If the sea level rises too much this will be a safe haven for Nova Scotians.

Critical thinking is my focus to my own revelations to not accept revelation unless it's a first-person revelation. Must have been tough as a Christian and face your family and friends when you gave it up? I have yet to discuss with my family members what I believe. I never could believe, but wanted an afterlife with a soul just like everybody else. The pie in the sky is a lie, it's not absolute, it makes me ask why? It's liberating to finally reach a position I'm confident with. I also feel the humour in how ridiculous faith is and also feel the pain of misguided faith.

Our first cat Mandy was a stray someone gave us. I loved that cat. The first cat I could take for a walk and she would stay with you every step of the way. When dogs were around she would let me pick her up until I thought it was safe. She knew how to handle herself and was doing this to calm me down I think. One day we let her out and she never returned. We picked up Romeo a couple weeks later and he is timid even today. He likes his tail pulled, gentle slaps on the back and his head rubbed when you can get a hold of him. He also howls and must forget we're home or doesn't want us to go to bed.
A beautiful day to rake leaves, go for a walk, enjoy the sun, explore nature and practice taking ...

Thank you! It's a Gorgeous day and a good opportunity with all the rain we've had. The pond caught my eye and isn't normally there. I don't alter any of my photos and enjoy capturing a moment through the lens as it is. This doesn't mean I won't alter my photos in the future.
These are from this morning in my front and back yard.

It won't be long and all the leaves will be down. Great shots. I'm going out to take some photos of my yard and do some raking.

I start with, and assume common knowledge that, one plus one is two. Can't agree with that? There is no need for you to exist.
flower_nut replies on Oct 28, 2018:
@Jacar If you can't agree with that your common sense isn't as common as you may think. Transistor logic is switching on and off circuits to compose computer language. True or false, on or off, this way or that way, click here and several micro calculations later you're there. One plus one is two on and off plus false is true. Thank you, I exist and it's true because one and one is two. Sorry, but I'm having fun and I mean no disrespect, but other comments give me inspiration. I especially like this one you made. Very simple.

I know that there would not be innocent people suffering if there were a loving god. That is all I need to know about that. As far as the supernatural goes. Well I have had experiences concerning loved ones who have died. They were positive experiences. I cannot prove to myself or anyone else that ...
flower_nut replies on Oct 28, 2018:
If there were a loving God mental illness would not exist, but unfortunately, it does. I have lost loved ones in the worst way. I 'd rather not go down that road at this time. Those issues are not at all attributed to me being here a godless heathen. It has affected me but doesn't define who I am. It's so hard to say “just don't worry” and simply say “be happy”. This will never work when mental illness is involved. I don't care what others say, medication is needed with a chemical imbalance of the brain. Medication helps to not worry and balance happiness. It's good to hear positive experiences when loved ones leave us. The positive for me is having loved ones still alive and I'm very grateful for that. Thank you for sharing your experience.

I can agree or not and that's the beauty of the mind. Clearly silly and random so I assume it's not fun for you. Oh well, I'll agree, 2 out three ain't bad. Thanks for your honesty.

Glenbank's colour fits well with the theme of our backyard. No yellow or orange only calming soft colours. Our front yard has all punch of yellow and orange. I've been using my iPhone 7 since the last frost in spring of this year and practising ever since. I like the look of raindrops on my flowers. They needed more rain than we received. Rain and snow is cheap fertilizer and I love it, but it keeps me out of the garden. Thank you.

@Jacar What if I suffer from mental illness? I get what you're saying and agree. Let's be clear on what I believe. Consider what's missing as unknown. 1. The universe is billions of years old. 2. God is an option to answer anything. 3. We developed somewhere in between. 4. Science is the learning curve to the method we now use and improve on as discoveries are made. As far as articulating the anti-theist piece Religion scares the fuck out of me and creates mental illness for those who oppose it. Do you live in fear of 2 Chronicles 15:13 because it blows my mind people take that shit literally? We can all help each other and live a peaceful life without God, the supernatural, magic and even the Bible. I like how you put the labels in context for me. I do appreciate comments and don't mind being called out on silly posts I put up. After all, this group is silly, random and fun. It describes me pretty good. I agree with Matt Dillahunty for the record.

It's hard to prove magic and if you believe in magic doesn't mine prove it? I don't want to annoy people, but I like to have fun too. The flat earth taught me something.
