The I have is Mt. Dew is the only vice now and when I believed in the religious. I used to smoke, but haven't had a cig in 8 years or so. When I became an atheist, I wanted to take up smoking for some reason. I started meditating and that helped the cig problem. Yes, I was raised in a religious home. What turned me away from is how christains treat the gay community, the contridictions in the bible, little to no proof there is a god, and final straw was an family member implying I would go to hell if I became an catholic (raised baptist). Being an former fool of religion, that jw are more screw up than most religious sects. To my knowledge they are the only sect that claims there is a certain number of people that get into heaven. I think your post is spot on, in what we perceive of the universe and the passing of time. To bad we can't build a time machine to see if there was something before the big bang. Of course I heard on the radio that time travel will be possible by the year 2200. I most likely won't be around to see it. I would like travel 5 years into the future to see if the world is more screwed up or has it improved any.

I like where I live, because everything is 7 to 10 minutes away. Most of the people are friendly and non judgmental. I would like to buy a bigger house in my town in the future. I suggest a smaller city in Illinois, if you decide to move. It will be more peaceful.

I would be annoyed as well, if someone did that to me. Try to ignore the fool who did that or report them to somebody if necesary . Being gay is instinctive and part who you are. Lot of people where born bi,gay,etc. I have still coming to terms with being attracted to men and no problem with spending the rest of my life with one. Religion created some issues for me and my pan sexual tendencies. This community has helped me with some of it and hope to put those issues out of my life one day.

Seeing how the christains treated the gay community, noticing some contradictions in the bible, and how my life was no where near what I thought it would be at that age.
