My belief - God is the Universe - its eternal, it created man, it fits.
gater replies on Mar 21, 2018:
Thanks, I got real high the other night and it occurred to me that God is the Universe. So I went from not believing in God to believing in a new definition of God. I hope they don't throw me out of here :)
Do you accept the possibility of a god, but reject man’s perspective of one?
gater comments on Mar 18, 2018:
I will never again believe in the Bible's God, however we have no idea where evolution will lead us, if we ever encounter a "supreme being" - they will just be far more evolved than us.
gater replies on Mar 21, 2018:
@EmeraldJewel I remember hearing that God created man so man could worship him. - If that were true then God must have some messed up ego issues.
If you could be safely frozen for 500 years and then thawed out - would you?

@Countrywoman Interesting - yes history is full of examples of men that offered new views that were right - but they were ridiculed - Copernicus was nearly put to death because he claimed the earth moved around the Sun.

The universe, like everything else, does not care what anyone believes. There is evidence that the universe does not have a an infinite past. To say "to me this is basic and true .. Yeah, I believe it - and I have for over 40 years. To me its simple and basic. Although there is no way of knowing what is out there - im am sure space continues forever - the laws of science may never catch up to logic. Logically there is no way to contend that space ends at some point.

Now, I would never do this myself as it is illegal here in Utah. BUT, if I were to share a recipe, it would go like this: 1 pkg Costco Brownie Mix, 2 grams ACTIVATED bud finely ground (coffee grinders are best with a bit of flour), cool, cut into 16 equal pieces, and voila! The easiest edible ever.

@irascible Just think about it - there cant be a beginning of time, its physically impossible, because at any point in time, there is a "before that" - and space cant be created or destroyed - another physical law. no beginning of time - no end of space - you better get used to these ideas if you want a grasp of physics.
