@Heidi68 I've lost three friends a a result of the police not calling off a high speed chase when it got dangerous. Innocent people died from someone running after stealing a minor item. In everycase they were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. We got Dallas to change their high speed pursuit policy, but it is largely ignored by the police and the media. I thought things would improve with the nearby gentrification, but now they just don't cover it for fear of pissing off their aedverstisers. As long as no one dies, not a story. Guy steals a six pack on Sunday morning , and the resultant chase results knocking out power to a neighborhood, no story. Cops covered, developers, people screwed.

glennlab replies on Mar 23, 2019:
@bleurowz The whole basis of the MLM system is to convince you to sign up friends and family, it is a numbers game at the top. Everytime that they sign someone up, if they don't make their sales quota, then those people end up belonging to the person above them. as long as thepeople at the bottom keep recruiting and quitting the people at the top keep making money on the overpriced starter kits. In the old days pre internet shopping, if you could time it right, you could make money and get out before market saturation occured. In today's markets, the overpriced starter kit is what the comapnies are making their money off of. If the emphasis is on building your downline rather than an actual product sale, it's a sham. Don't be to hard on your friend, I have seen some very intellegent people fall victim to the magical sales pitch, and the first couple of months some make money, but the vast majority don't.

@Nightshade1313 Break your pot down, put in a mason jar, add about a pint of everclear (I buy 1.75s). close shake, shake each day for about a week, dump the entire mix in a crockpot, add a little water, add your oil, cook slow for 12-24 hrs on very low heat, do not allow the water to completely evaporate, the alcohol will be gone first. stain, place in fridge, once it solidifies, you've got a much stonger oil/butter.

That is disappointing the VA won't cover it. I hope this produces good results. Good luck.

Thanks to adding tons of new disable veterans to a system and not incresing spending, the VA doesn't cover nearly a much as it used to or should.

You do not..... unless you have the same set up as Denver's offices that will test your strains and edibles for you at a cost every time. Right now, Im using a ratio of 3/4 lb of oil/butter to an OZ of top shelf weed. If someone KNOWS how .... tell me!

I have gone to using alcohol for a first wash, then 1 lb of oil to one oz.

@Kynlei I was production manager at a large newspaper, anytime something like this came up, i had to be the one to explain how it could happen, it was really difficult explaining to the editorial staff that spell check only checked spelling, not wrong words or grammar.
A great old add, I am gonna need lots of coffee this am to get going. Have a great day everyone!

Wow, if they don't come up in Dallas that late they will never survive in my area. I wonder, though, if there are hybrids for different regions. I recently planted a pomegranate hybrid. They would do much better in Spokane or Yakima than where you are, The coastal range may or may not get warm enough. You're welcome to try I gathered almost 2 ounces of seeds, so it's not a question of wasting them.

are they invasive?
glennlab replies on Mar 22, 2019:
No, They are native to the desert SW, and will get up to 10 feet across in areas that have more water and nutrients, but are not problems of too many plants. They die back at first frost, I use them as an alternative food source for the green tomato hook worm as well as for the flowers.

@Hathacat I went to HS right across the ship Channel from that plant and was involved in trying to get the petrochemical plants to clean up their mess. They just got better at hiding it.
