Presidential candidate vows to abolish federal government on day 1, then resign [foxbusiness.

Libertarians are typically one step from anarchists, in fact they have a large anarchist group active in the national party. I had one tell me that if the government stop building roads, Walmart would step in so that their customers could get to their stores, and not charge anyone to use it.

@WonderWartHog99 The system was designed before memory chips were a thing. Encryption has progressed but you have to change out every machine in DOD at the same time in order to ensure readyness. Both ends have to have the same machine. We were still using WW II tech up until th1990s, I don't know whether they have upgraded yet.

glennlab replies on Jun 16, 2019:
@Kc2222 I always tell people to take the teachings that they can relate to, and throw away the ones that they don't agree with. Religion served a need in the early history of mankind, to teach basic social more's and provide a social framework. That time has passed. Most religions today are still based on Bronze Age teachings. A book that might explain it better if it is still in print is :The Sabertooth Curriculum" It explains how people hold on to old outdated ideas because they are comfortable with them, even though they no longer apply to anything they are currently dealing with. It's still in print 65th anniversary edition on Amazon.
Are you sure?

@Kc2222 They did not lose their lives to religion, they lost their lives to people that used religion to advance their own agenda. It's like I don't blame the catholic church for molesting children, I blame the indivual priests, but I blame the church for the coverup. Anti-gay, anti-abortion, anti-gambling, anti-alcohol are personal agendas that mascarade as religious tennents. Marx I believe said it best, religion is the opiate of the masses, the new nuts it is the cocaine of the masses.

glennlab replies on Jun 8, 2019:
@Heidi68 Once they are inside the fruit, the only way is to remove the fruit. I would compost mine and the heat kills the worm. They normally go after the weaker fruit, less fruit normally means stronger fruit. If you want to satisfy your curiousity, remove one of the bleeders, take sharp knife and slice into the fruit. you will see the little worm and feces. these damaged fruit will mature first and the next generation will hatch out to infest next year's crop. Check with your county extention agent (USDA), they should be able to tell you what works in your area to prevent infestations.

I completely agree. Do you think trump chooses to be a mean a-hole or was he just born that way?

Do what we did with my son, read to them every night letting them see the book when they are old enough. Be in the room when they watch TV. Take them out into nature and show them how to explore it. Will it work for you? Only time will tell, the little buggers don't come with an owner's manual.

Having been involved in civilian helicopter operations with a pilot not just out of flight school, I can't understand why the idiot didn't lower the load to the ground to stop the spinning and let the crew re-hook her. Think it's time for a flight review.
glennlab replies on Jun 7, 2019:
I wondered the same thing, loss of support line, over land, with crew still on the ground, seems like the obvious thing to do would have been to lower the basket for stabilization by the crew and reattach the stablizer line.

glennlab replies on Jun 7, 2019:
I reada the part of the report that is available, there are at least 10 cases of obstruction, and Trump was the unindicted cocospiritor for committing felonies which other people went to prison for. And that does not include the redacted parts that are far more serious and deal with his treason.

As a mater of fact if you ever want to see how mean nature can be, we have the Big Thicket Park, that included some of the meanest plants that look really nice with horrible defenses behind the leaves. Try picking pomegranates with out getting thorns, or even young live oaks.
