@FrayedBear I would never try to guess why one member has blocked another, I lie, I might try and guess, but I wouldn't put it out there for everyone to read. I know that I am blocked by a couple of people that I have never had a conversation with. One luckly another group member interceded and found out that they had no idea why it had happened, once it was cleared up, we had a whole new group of problems. Site glitch I supposed. I know that with my sense of humor and flipantness, I have probably scared a few off, but if that is all it took to block me, then we probably never would have gotten very far anyhow. I am much of a live and let live kind of person.

I hate messaging and appreciate the freedom it gives, but I would far rather talk to a person than just message. I know that women have other concerns other than just ease of communication, but no relationship will really start to bloom until you have had some type of peronal real time exchange.

@Pralina1 His acting is an aquired taste, and I can say that I've aquired it. I've always compained about going to musicals, then once i go I enjoy them so much i want to go again. It goes back to high school, I dated a girl who's father believed in supporting the arts as long as he didn't have to actually go to the performances. The main drawback was having to get "dressed", then the drive into the city, parking and driving home, which left almost no time for anything else.

@Charity Spring teased and I put some plants out a little too early, drug them all back to the hot tub enclosure, I remember what officiating was like and my condolences. I did football and softball. I got up to the Jr college level before moving to Dallas. I've been stuggling with gout, so heavy duty pain meds with extra gout meds and tons of water, so I'm up every half hour to get rid of the water. Monday I'm taking off for the gulf coast (Biloxi) and Fl (St Augustine) so I'll be semi out of touch for a week or so.

As long as you follow label directions on both, there shouldn't be any complications. Take a soil sample when you go to the nursery, a lot of them have on site analysis.

Why do you think the musicians flocked to Nashville, Detroit, New York, San Fransisco, LA, and New Orleans? That was where there were other musicians that were innovating.

@Gooniesnvrdie If you look at the top 40, you can see the transition, that was the music of the era, outside the top 40, it got zero air time. To compare the access we have now to the access we had then is an exercise in futility. To just find new music, you had to go to a record store. You had to guess what it would sound like, since very few had a play in store area. Today almost all the music ever performed by decent and some not so decent artists is available at the click of a mouse.

Living near the neighborhood that SRV grew up in and first played, I had kind of avoided a lot of his music, simply because everyone around here claims to have known him and played his lesser known tracks on the jukeboxes. Got to admit, he is very talented.
