Another idea is thornless blackberries, they are a bieneial crop, that is the berries grow on last years growth. Lots of pruning to remove this years fruit bearing stems. First year plant them about 6 feet apart, the new plants will fill in between them.

Drip irrigation will provide good supply of water. some mail order companies are good, but I shy away from any that promise way better results than anyone else. Your root stock is a long term investment, it will be with you 20-30 years under the right conditions, so select carefully .

Had I not had to work with it, I probably would not have the working knowledge I do and that is still subject to actually having to read the substance of the document to note any weird stuff that only applies to that one treaty. But all treaties signed by the president have the force of law in the US, a treaty that has not been ratified can either be enforced or ignored by future or even the same president. Once the treaty has been ratified it takes a more complex mechanism to reverse it.

If the Russians are out of compliance, are given 60 days to take action after they are notified that we consider them out of compliance, then the treaty can be nullified 6 months later if no action is taken by the senate. We are in the final 2 weeks of the 60 notification period.

The terrorist group “still commands thousands of fighters in Iraq and Syria,” and maintains eight branches and a dozen networks around the world, the annual report to Congress said. Mr. Trump is expected to meet next month with the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, in a second round of negotiations aimed at ridding the country of its nuclear weapons. But Mr. Coats told the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday that “we currently assess North Korea will seek to retain its W.M.D. capability and is unlikely to completely give up its nuclear weapons and production capability.” “Its leaders ultimately view nuclear weapons as critical to regime survival,” Mr. Coats said. Gina Haspel, the C.I.A. director, said the North Korean government was “committed to developing a long-range nuclear-armed missile that would pose a direct threat to the United States.” Under questioning by Senator Kamala Harris, Democrat of California, Ms. Haspel said it was encouraging that North Korea had engaged in dialogue with the United States. But, she said, ultimately the diplomatic objective had to be to persuade Pyongyang to fully disclose its program and dismantle its weapons. Former intelligence officials have expressed a degree of skepticism about the coming meeting, given the relatively modest steps North Korea has taken toward throttling its nuclear program. On Iran, Mr. Coats cited the nation’s continued support of terrorism in Europe and the Middle East, including sponsoring Houthis in Yemen and Shiite militants in Iraq. He also said that he believed that Iran hard-liners would continue to challenge centrist rivals. I am recovering from a "short trip" to help a friend get her car back from her dad's place were it was getting repaired after breaking down there over Christmas, 200 miles one way.
